One of the most important constraints in Yakut is connected with syllabic structure. Its syllabic structure is based on CV. So the constraint of "NoGeminates" is strictly applied. And the harmony between features is also considered important. Yakut has the strict constraint on the phonotactical relations. In Yakut a feature [constricted glottis] works more vigorously than [voiced]. This feature is combined with a feature [+back] or [+lab], making new constraints on the initial place: *#[+back, -CG], *# [+lab,+CG]. Finally, consonantal assimilation in obstruents of Yakut is dominated by 2 lows of constraints. 레이저 박피술의 피부면적 감소효과와 레이저 punch out 병변의 치유에 대한 실험적 연구

An experimental study was designed to analyze the surface reduction effect of ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser on the skin of guinea pigs receiving laser resurfacing. Two squares of skin measuring 3x3 ㎠ were designed on each side of the abdomen of guinea pigs(n=10). Five animals received laser resurfacing on their abdomen at energy of 250mJ/5 watt, and five other animals received 500 mJ/5 watt. On each animal, the left side square was treated with one pass of a CO2 laser, and the right side q=square was treated with two passes using a C.P.G. scanner. The size of the resurfacing area was determined by celluloid overlays at 1,2,3,4 and 6 weeks. Immediately following laser resurfacing, the area was decreased to 69%(left side) and 56%(right side) of the designed area in the 250 mJ/5 watt group, and 59% and 40% in the 500mJ/5 watt group. After 6 weeks, the resurfaced area had been reduced to 70% and 56% of the designed area in the 250mJ/5 watt group, and 60% and 40% in the 500mJ/5 watt group. As a result, the effect of surface reduction by CO2 laser resurfacing increased at a higher power and when more passes of the ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser were applied. The laser treated skin continued to maintain its contracted dimensions. These findings suggest that ultrapulse carbon dioxide laser may be an effective treatment method for rhytides. Another experiment was performed on multiple punch-out lesions on guinea pig skin(n=2) with 1,2,3 mm collimated hand pieces for the purpose of determining a new laser treatment method. After 4 weeks, on gross and histological examination, there were no differences in the healing of multiple punch-out lesions and the healing of punch-out lesions was complete without any scarring. These findings suggest that the laser punch-out method can be used for the treatment of acne scars.

Efficacy of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection for Leukocytospermia

White blood cells (WBCs) are present in most human ejaculates, but abnormally high concentration of seminal leukocytes map reflect an underlying pathological condition. The World Health Organization (WHO) has defined leukocytospermia as status of more than 10^(6) WBC/mL of semen. The purpose of this study was firstly, to compare the outcomes between conventional IVF and ICSl in leukocytospermia, and secondly, to investigate whether ICSI may be an alternation treatment for patients with leukocytospermia. Total 346 cycles of conventional IVF and ICSI candidates underwent IVF cycles at Eulji Hospital Infertility Clinic. Semen Parameters including concentration, motility, morphology of spermatozoa and concentration of leukocytes were assessed from the raw ejaculates. There was no difference in sperm concentration, motility and morphology. The rates of fertilization and good embryo development from ICSI were significantly higher than those from conventional IVF in leukocytospermia (60.4% & 32.5% respectively for ICSI group and 44.4% & 28.5%, respectively for IVF group, P<0.001). The pregnancy rate after ICSI was also higher than that from conventional IVF (34.0% vs 29.1%. P<0.05). These results indicate that the presence of seminal leukocyes (>1×10^(6) WBC/mL of semen) is adversely related with fertilization, embryo development and pregnancy rate. Therfore the measurement of seminal leukocytes in routine semen analysis appears to be of prognostic value with regard to male fertilizing potential. In conclusion. it is suggested that ICSI is an alternative choice of treatment for patients with leukocytospermia.

The liquidus temperature was observed according to the change of content BaO 6 W/O ~ 12W/O and SrO 1 W/O~4W/O in R₂O-PbO-Al₂O₃- (BaO+SrO+SiO₂) glass system. The liquidus temperature varied between 810°C ~ 950°C in these glasses. The effect of BaO & SrO content to the liquidus temperature of the glasses are as follows. 1. The variation of the liquidus temperature were remarkable by the content of SrO in the range of BaO contents from 6 W/O to 8 W/O. 2. The minimum liquidus temperature is located at the composition of BaO 8 W/O SrO 4 W/O SiO₂ 68 W/O.

미치광이풀 모상근 배양에서 Tropane Alkaloid 생산성 증진을 위한 최적 생물학적 엘리시터 선발

Scopolamine and hyoscyamine which belong to tropane alkaloids are the pharmaceutically valuable anticholinergic drugs. In order to increase the productivities, the effects of elicitation were investigated during hairy root cultures of Scopolia parviflora. Biotic elicitors originated from 3 fungi and 1 yeast were prepared as homogenate and supernatant and added to 3-week-old cultures. Both of homogenate and supernatant of Candida albicans elicitors increased the scopolamine production. The production of hyoscyamine was enhanced by homogenate of Fusarium solani and supematant of C. albicans. Most of the other fungal elicitors were also improved on the tropane alkaloid production compared to non-treatment. Among the elicitors tested, C. albicans was proved the optimal biotic elicitor on tropane alkaloids production. These results will be served mass production of tropane alkaloids by large-scale production.

중부지역 대학생의 남녀평등의식에 관한 실태조사

This study investigated gender eqalitarianism of university students. The purpose of this study was to offer basic information and desirable direction for the education program of student's sex-role indentity. The data collection was based on Korean Questionnaire of Gender Equality Perception developed by Korean Women Development Center. Its reliabilitv(Cronbach α) was .84. In this study.982 university students were sampled in Kyunggi, Gangwon and Chungchong provinces. T-test and One-way ANOVA was conducted with the SPSS 10.0 version program. The major findings of this study were as follow: First, university student showed the highest gender eqalitarianism in educational life field. But they have the lowest in social and cultural life field. Second, male university students showed lower gender eqalitarianism than female university students. Third. student who is middle or last in brother order showed higher than one who is first or only son. Forth, student who is grown up in urban showed higher gender eqalitarianism than one in country.

심한 낙타혹(Hump)의 형성을 동반한 제 2 형 막증식성 사구체신염(Dense Deposit Disease) 1예

Dense deposit disease (DDD), known as type Ⅱ MPGN, is an uncommon form of glomerulonephritis. It is an acquired primary glomerular disease, characterised by electron microscopic evidence of a continous, dense membrane deposition replacing the lamina densa. There is associated alternative pathway complement activation and a C3 nephritic factor maybe present. Patients with dense deposit disease tend to be young at clincal onset and more commonly have persistent nephrotic syndrome, gross hematuria, and acute nephritis episode and persistent depression of the serum complement level. The prognosis of dense deposit disease is worse than that of typeⅠMPGN. We experienced a patient with dense deposit disease that presenting persistent nephrotic syndrome, gross hematuria and having subepithelial hump. It is a first report of dense deposit disease having subepithelial hump in Korea, therefore we report this case with the review of relevant literatures.

형광백혈구 안저촬영술에서 플로레신 염색의 안정성과 형광림프구의 분리

Recently, retinal blood flow has been studied with several methods, targeted dye delivery method, fluorescent vesicle system, laser Doppler velocimetry, acridine orange staining method. Authors presented a new method, fluorescein leukocyte angiography using a scanning laser ophthalmoscope which include external staining of leukocyte with fluorescein dye and reintroduce the fluorescent leukocyte into the blood flow. Authors tried to check security of external fluorescein staining of leukocytes and separation of fluorescent lymphocytes from whole blood and supernatant fluid using Ficoll-Paque, with cell viability, leukocyte recovery rate and erythrocyte contamination rate. There was no significant difference in cell viability, leukocyte recovery rate and erythrocyte contamination rate between fluorescein staining group and non-staining group. Fluorescent lymphocytes could be separated from whole blood and supernatant solution after gravity sedimentation with 6% hetastarch and the gravity sedimented group had low erythrocyte contamination rate than whole blood group(p≤0.05). In conclusion, external fluorescein staining procedure of leukocyte during fluorescein leukocyte angiography could be performed without cell injury compared to non-fluorescein staining group and fluorescent lymphocyte could be separated from whole blood and supernatant fluid after gravity sedimentation.

金浦지역 大同累層群에 대한 古磁氣 연구

A total of 111 independently oriented core samples were drilled at 12 sites in the Kimpo area (37.70°N, 126.55°E) of the Taedong Supergroup. The Taedong strata are composed of sandstone, conglomeratic sandstone, shale and thin coal seams. The age of the strata is known to be Late Triassic-Early Jurassic according to fresh-water Estherites and plant fossil (Dictyophyllum-Clathropteris flora) contents. Through AF and thermal demagnetization, an area-mean ChRM direction of D=48.3°I=40.3°α_(95)=7.9°k=59.5, n=7 was obtained. It passed fold and reversal test in the formation-mean level. Fold test was not significant in the area-mean level. The palaeomagnetic north pole calculated from the area-mean lies at 46.3°N, 222.0°E with dp = 5.7, dm = 9.5°.This pole position is very similar to those of the South China Block (SCB) in Triassic times. Palaeolatitude of the Kimpo area in the Taedong times was 23.0°N, again very similar to the palaeolatitde of the South China Block in the Late Triassic. This low latitude of the study area at the time of deposition explains the tropical-subtropical nature of fossil contents of the Taedong Supergroup.

심리사회적 중재가 간호대학생의 스트레스 지각, 대처방법, 스트레스 반응에 미치는 효과

Purpose: The purpose was to examine the effectiveness of a psychosocial stress management program on stress and coping in student nurses. Method: A nonequivalent control group pre-posttest design was used. A convenience sample of 24 students from the Department of Nursing, Wonju College of Medicine, Yonsei University were assigned to experimental (n=12) and control groups (n=12). Stress was measured using the Visual Analog Scale (10 points) and blood cortisol. Coping was measured using a scale modified by So (1995) based on the Ways of Coping Checklist developed by Folkman and Lazarus (1985). Depression was measured using the CES-D by Radloff (1977) and state anxiety, using the State Anxiety Inventory by Spielberger (1976). The psychosocial stress management program included education, relaxation (Korean Dan Jeon-typed Breathing and music), and social support. Result: Results showed for the two groups, 1) a significant difference in stress scores (U=19.50, p=0.002), 2) no difference in cortisol levels (8am, 4pm). 3) a significant difference in problem-focused coping (U=25.50, p=0.007), 4) no difference in emotion-focused coping, and 5) no difference in state anxiety and depression. Conclusion: By utilizing the program, students were able to learn how to control their stress and improve their coping. Therefore with a partial modification, psychosocial stress management can be useful for continual management of stress in student nurses.
