A Low Complexity PTS Technique using Threshold for PAPR Reduction in OFDM Systems

Traffic classification seeks to assign packet flows to an appropriate quality of service (QoS) class based on flow statistics without the need to examine packet payloads. Classification proceeds in two steps. Classification rules are first built by analyzing traffic traces, and then the classification rules are evaluated using test data. In this paper, we use self-organizing map and K-means clustering as unsupervised machine learning methods to identify the inherent classes in traffic traces. Three clusters were discovered, corresponding to transactional, bulk data transfer, and interactive applications. The K-nearest neighbor classifier was found to be highly accurate for the traffic data and significantly better compared to a minimum mean distance classifier.
클라우드 컴퓨팅의 CEaaS를 위한 홈 네트워크 미들웨어 설계

There are active research efforts to develop the home network middleware as the home network market grows rapidly thanks to the progress in the information technology. Particularly, the UPnP based technology that guarantees QoS(Quality of Service) for heterogeneous devices is now applied to the development of various home network services. UPnP is very difficult for individual user to find any service of appliance they need and it would take a lot of time. In this paper, We describe Home network middleware for CEaaS(Consumer Electronic as a Service) based on cloud computing. The performance of the developed middleware is observed by measuring the data processing time. The system shows that ubiquitous services can be provided to users effectively in a Home network environment.
한글 단어 및 문장의 음성 인식률 향상을 위한 음성 인식 API 개발

In this paper, we propose a new API to improving the speech recognition rate of Korean words and sentences. Speech recognition is a technology that converts acoustic signals from sensors such as microphones into words or sentences. Various programs currently supporting speech recognition are also not satisfied with the results of Hangul recognition. To improve this, a new algorithm was added to the existing speech recognition structure to increase the speech recognition rate. The algorithms are preprocessing, exceptions, numeric conversion, approximate comparison, Levenstein distance, hashing, consonant comparison, etc. The experimental environment was tested by developing a smartphone test application. The proposed structure confirmed that the recognition rate of standard words was approximately 8.2% better than that of conventional structure.
클라우드 컴퓨팅의 CEaaS를 이용한 유시티 홈 네트워크 아키텍처 설계에 대한 연구

According to the recent advancement of wired and wireless communication network technology such as mobile communication and high-speed Internet, home network service base on Internet information appliance makes great strides. Particularly, the UPnP based technology that guarantees QoS (Quality of Service) for heterogeneous devices is now applied to the development of various home network services. UPnP is very difficult for individual user to find any service of appliance they need and it would take a lot of time. Hence, this paper defines a new paradigm as Consumer Electronic as a Service (CEaaS) using cloud computing for next-generation ubiquitous network environments and propose new u-city home network architecture. The proposed architecture is implemented as interface using HTML 5.
Recombinant Production of an Inulinase in a Saccharomyces cerevisiae gal80 Strain

The inulinase gene (INU1) from Kluyveromyces marxianus NCYC2887 was overexpressed by using the GAL10 promotor in a △gal80 strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The inulinase gene lacking the original signal sequence was fused in-frame to a mating factor α signal sequence for secretory expression. Use of the △gal80 strain allowed for the galactose-free induction of inulinase expression using a glucose-only medium. Shake-flask cultivation in YPD medium produced 34.6 U/ml of the recombinant inulinase, which was approximately 13-fold higher than that produced by K. marxianus NCYC2887. It was found that the use of the △gal80 strain improved the expression of inulinase in the recombinant S. cerevisiae in both aerobic and anaerobic conditions by about 2.9- and 1.7- fold, respectively. A 5-l fed-batch fermentation using YPD medium was performed under aerobic condition with glucose feeding, which resulted in the inulinase production of 31.7 U/ml at the OD600 of 67. Ethanol fermentation of dried powder of Jerusalem artichoke, an inulin-rich biomass, was also performed using the recombinant S. cerevisiae expressing INU1 and K. marxianus NCYC2887. Fermentation in a 5-l scale fermentor was carried out at an aeration rate of 0.2 vvm, an agitation rate of 300 rpm, and with the pH controlled at 5.0. The temperature was maintained at 30oC and 37oC, respectively, for the recombinant S. cerevisiae and K. marxianus. The maximum productivities of ethanol were 59.0 and 53.5 g/l, respectively.

The retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) forms a monolayer sheet separating the retina and choroid in vertebrate eyes. The polarized nature of RPE is maintained by distributing membrane proteins differentially along apico-basal axis. We found the distributions of these proteins differ in embryonic, post-natal, and mature mouse RPE, suggesting developmental regulation of protein trafficking. Thus, we deleted tumor susceptibility gene 101 (Tsg101), a key component of endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT), in embryonic and mature RPE to determine whether ESCRT-mediated endocytic protein trafficking correlated with the establishment and maintenance of RPE polarity. Loss of Tsg101 severely disturbed the polarity of RPE, which forms irregular aggregates exhibiting non-polarized distribution of cell adhesion proteins and activation of epidermal growth factor receptor signaling. These findings suggest that ESCRT-mediated protein trafficking is essential for the development and maintenance of RPE cell polarity.

This report describes 46 studies related to prescriptions which are mainly used Semen Arecae from Dongeuibogam. The following conclusions were reached through investigations on the prescriptions that use Semen Arecae as a main component. 19.6% of a malaria, 17.4% of an evacuation problem, recorded the largest number of clinical frequency of the prescriptions in therapeutic use when Semen Arecae was taken as a main component in prescriptions Prescriptions that utilize Semen Arecae as the main ingredient are used in the treatment of a malaria, an evacuation problem and a malignant dermatosis. they are also used for treating 11 different types of diseases. The prescriptions are compounded with Semen Arecae as a main component which can be applied to an affection by wind-cold, a heat(fire) syndrome, a cold-stroke, a phlegm-retention syndrome, a constipation induced by apoplexy, a stagnation of vital energy, an asthenia of the spleen and the stomach, a convulsion caused by improper diet, a parasitic infestation and a traumatic disease. The dosage of Semen Arecae is 2.5pun(nearly 0.94g) to 3don(nearly 11.25g), however 1don(nearly 3.75g) has been taken the most for clinical application. When Semen Arecae is combined with basic prescriptions such as Ijintang and Bulium, it applies symptoms of malaria. In addition, when Semen Arecae is combined with basic prescriptions such as Daemainhwan, Soseungkitang and Samatang, it utilizes an evacuation problem.
