In this study, we investigated the anti-oxidative effects, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activities of the extracts from broccoli to evaluate its use as a functional ingredient in cosmetics. The extracts are WE (water extract at RT), MWE (mineral water extract at RT), EE (70% ethanol extract at RT), and USEE (heat process for 12 hours at 60℃ after ultrasonification for six hours with 70% ethanol). The measurements of the total polyphenol content from broccoli extracts were highest in EE at 425.24±13.9 mg/g dry. The result of electron donating ability of EE was the highest at 10,000 ㎍/㎖ as 97.81% and increased in a concentration-dependent manner. The ferric reducing antioxidant powder (FRAP) of EE was the highest at 10,000 ㎍/㎖ as 1235.6 μM. In an antimicrobial activity test, the EE showed significant antimicrobial activity against S. epidermidis, S. aureus, E. coli, P. acnes, and P. ovale. Furthermore, broccoli extract exhibited no cytotoxicity in RAW 264.7 cells. Also anti- inflammatory activity by NO assay showed LPS-induced NO was significantly inhibited following treatment with EE of 1,000 ㎍/㎖. Therefore, the broccoli ethanol extract can be used as a resource of natural cosmetic material for functional cosmetics.

토양은 다양한 성분과 복잡한 구조를 가진 물질이다. 토양 플러싱은 토양정화의 좋은 도구이지만 합리적 계산 없이 여러 가지 계면활성제와 유기용제가 사용되어 왔다. 따라서 모델링은 화학적 토양세정에서 매우 중요한 도구이며 본 고에서는 용해 및 이동 그리고 흡착 동력학을 근간으로 토양 bed에서의 플러싱 모델을 제시하였다. 오염물 제거에는 실험에서 확인된 것과 같이 유가식 첨가방식이 연속식보다 훨씬 우수함을 보여준다.

We have developed the exclusive CAD/CAM system for the machining of impeller blades. This study is about the modeling method for the effective machining of impeller blades formed by ruled surface. As the impeller is consisted of boss part and blade part, the boss is modeled by rotational surface of hub curve on z-axis and the blade is described by ruled-surfaces between hub curve and shroud curve. This modeling process can be carried out on the software developed in this study. And, the developed software can describe the impeller as a solid model through interface with Solid-Works software. The developed software containing the interface method proposed in this study was very effective for impeller modeling.

(-)-(IR, 2R)-trans-menthyl-2-phenylcyclopropanecarboxylate has been synthesized with aid of chiral Cu(Ⅱ) complex catalyst by the addition reaction of menthyldiazoacetate to the styrene. The yield was 80%, the purity of trans-compound over 90% and optical purity 75%. These results show the possibility of synthesis of (-)-(IR, 2R)-trans-2-phenylcyclopropane-carboxylic acid with high purities of optical activity and geometric specificity.

This research is to investigate the solvent effect of soil flushing solutions in a dodecane-contaminated soil bed. Tween-80 (water-loving surfactant) and low carbon-numbered alcohols(co-solvents) were used as flushing agents. With butanol, the recovery efficiency reached up to 94%, which was the highest among our experiments. However, extended retention times lowered the removal efficiency probably due to formation of admicelles during the adsorption/desorption process.

This study is continuous with the study 1 (A Study on the Modeling) and the sample impeller of this study is defined by the modeling process of the exclusive CAD/CAM system developed in the study I. And, this study describes a method for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades formed by ruled surface. Therefore, the exclusive CAD/CAM system is the software for modeling and machining of impeller blades. By using the machining method suggested in this study, we could manufacture impeller blades on 5-axis CNC machining center and the machined impeller was very agreeable to the designed impeller. Thus, theories proposed in this study can be very useful for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades.

단백질 칩은 DNA칩에 이어 산업계와 환경 분야에서 보다 편리하고 신뢰도가 큰 분석 도구로 각광받고 있다. 특히 약학, 진단, 생화학 및 생물 산업에서 주요 현안이 되고 있는 항원-항체 반응, 단백질-단백질 작용, 단백질-소분자 작용의 분석기법에 혁신을 가져왔다. 또한 단백질 칩은 칩 개발과 연관된 표면화학 및 분자 검출 전략에 치중하고 있다. 본 고는 과거와 현재의 단백질 칩 연구를 개괄하고 향후 상용화 될 칩의 미래를 진단하고자 한다.

폴리우레탄 거품수지를 대기압 플라즈마와 표면 그라프팅 중합반응을 이용하여 표면개질하였다. 플라즈마 반응으로 폴리우레탄의 표면에 과산화기가 도입되었다. 또한 아크릴산의 그라프트 공중합을 통하여 카르복시기가 형성되었다. 이와 같이 개질된 폴리우에탄 시료를 일반 미생물 점착시헌에 사용하였다. 점착시험으로 표면 개질방법에 따른 미생물 점착성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 그라프트 공중합 개질한 시료의 점착성이 전혀 표면개질이 없었던 시료나 플라즈마 처리만 된 시료보다 약 3배이상 높게 분석되었다. 세균의 양은 주사전자현미경으로 측정하였다.

According to the literature on the, the results were as follows. 1. For the medicine are used safflower(紅花), patrinia(敗醬草), chrysanthemum flower(菊花) and Cortex Phellodenri(黃柏). nature and flavor of the medicine is almost cold, bitter in taste and hot in taste. 4. For the classification of medicine are used drug to induce diuresis to elominate stranguria(利尿通淋藥) and drug to induce diuresis to dispersing swelling (利尿通淋藥). sometines they are used to Heat-clearing and detoxifying drug(淸熱解毒藥) and blood-quickining aget(활혈거어약).

This paper describes the method and the process for impeller machining on 5-axis CNC machining center. Also, The CAD/CAM software for the impeller post processing is developed. The software can be interfaced with Solid-works software for confirmation of the impeller shapes. In this study, blades on impeller is described from Ruled-surfaces between two Ferguson curves. In this study, using 5-axis NC part program obtained from the developed software, a sample impeller was machined on 5-axis CNC machining center. The machined impeller was very agreeable to the designed impeller. Thus, theories proposed in this study can be very useful for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades with Ruled-surfaces.
