According to FMVSS No. 109 published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), tire strength and bead unseating tests are included among the major tire safety assessment tests. Uncertainty such as accuracy, precision, and error exist for each test, and these tests shall be verified because there are specified values for passing. To measure this, measurement uncertainty is getting more important with ISO/IEC 17025, which is established for the International Test and Calibration Laboratories since the early 1980s. This paper aims to study in the measurement uncertainty when tire strength and bead unseating test.
