DERIVATIONS ON CONVOLUTION ALGEBRAS
MEHDIPOUR, MOHAMMAD JAVAD,SAEEDI, ZAHRA Korean Mathematical Society 2015 대한수학회보 Vol.52 No.4
In this paper, we investigate derivations on the noncommutative Banach algebra $L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*$ equipped with an Arens product. As a main result, we prove the Singer-Wermer conjecture for the noncommutative Banach algebra $L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*$. We then show that a derivation on $L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*$ is continuous if and only if its restriction to rad($L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*$) is continuous. We also prove that there is no nonzero centralizing derivation on $L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*$. Finally, we prove that the space of all inner derivations of $L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*$ is continuously homomorphic to the space $L^{\infty}_0({\omega})^*/L^1({\omega})$.

In this paper, we investigate derivations on the noncommutative Banach algebra L∞ 0 (ω)∗ equipped with an Arens product. As a main result, we prove the Singer-Wermer conjecture for the noncommutative Banach algebra L∞ 0 (ω)∗. We then show that a derivation on L∞ 0 (ω)∗ is continuous if and only if its restriction to rad(L∞ 0 (ω)∗) is continuous. We also prove that there is no nonzero centralizing derivation on L∞ 0 (ω)∗. Finally, we prove that the space of all inner derivations of L∞ 0 (ω)∗ is continuously homomorphic to the space L∞ 0 (ω)∗/L1(ω).

Objective: Bacteriospermia and urogenital infections are common problems in male infertility. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of bacteriospermia on sperm parameters and clinical outcomes in semen samples infected with two common bacteria (Staphylococcus saprophyticus and Escherichia coli) in northern Iran. Methods: Microbiological tests were performed to isolate and identify organisms from 435 semen samples from infertile couples. Semen samples were assessed according to the World Health Organization criteria. The protamine status, chromatin structure, chromatin condensation, and acrosome reaction of sperm and assisted reproductive outcomes were determined in couples with different male infertility factors. Results: Among the total cases, the two most prevalent pathogens were considered: S. saprophyticus (38.2%) and E. coli (52.9%). In the semen samples infected with E. coli, the spontaneous acrosome reaction and abnormal chromatin condensation were more common (p<0.05). Significant increases in abnormal chromatin condensation and deprotamination were seen in the presence of S. saprophyticus. In washed semen, tight adhesion between the sperm midpiece and S. saprophyticus was observed. There was also a significant decrease in the fertilization rate using semen samples infected with S. saprophyticus and E. coli during in vitro fertilization cycles (p<0.001). In addition, the presence of S. saprophyticus and E. coli in semen samples was associated with a lower likelihood of clinical pregnancy in couples with various factors of male infertility. Conclusion: Poor results of assisted reproductive techniques may be correlated with semen samples infected with two common bacteria in northern Iran.
σ-JORDAN AMENABILITY OF BANACH ALGEBRAS
Lin Chen,Jun Li,Mohammad Javad Mehdipour 호남수학회 2024 호남수학학술지 Vol.46 No.1
In this paper, we introduce the notion of σ-Jordan amenability of Banach algebras and some hereditary are investigated. Similar to Johnson’s classic result, we give the notions of σ-Jordan approximate and σ-Jordan virtual diagonals, and find some relations between the existence of them and σ-Jordan amenability.
Silver Sulfadiazine-loaded PVA/CMC Nanofibers for the Treatment of Wounds Caused by Excision
Reza Alipour,Alireza Khorshidi,Abdollah Fallah Shojaei,Farhad Mashayekhi,Mohammad Javad Mehdipour Moghaddam 한국섬유공학회 2019 Fibers and polymers Vol.20 No.12
Polyvinyl alcohol/carboxymethylcellulose/silver sulfadiazine composite nanofibers (PVA/CMC/SSD) containingdifferent proportions of each ingredient were prepared by electrospinning and characterized by Fourier-transform infraredspectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), powder X-ray diffractionanalysis (XRD), atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. The obtainednanofibers were uni-axially formed with randomly oriented longitudinal axes without entanglement, and their meandiameters ranged from 160 to 210 nm. Silver sulfadiazine, on the other hand, was appeared as a non-uniform dispersion ofspherical nanoparticles ranging from 35 to 75 nm over the surface of nanofibers. Efficacy of the silver sulfadiazine loadednanofibers for treatment of wounds caused be excision in rabbits in a period of 14 days was evaluated and it was found thatthe extent of skin repair in the applied dressing depends on the total Ag content. The dressing composed of 73.6:24.6:1.8weight percent of PVA/CMC/SSD provided the best result in comparison with a control dressing made form PVA/CMC(88.8:11.2 %). In vitro cell viability of fibers on HSF-PI 18 fibroblast like cells was assessed by MTT assay. Antibacterialactivity of the prepared nanofibers was also evaluated against gram-negative Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeroginosa, and gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus. PVA/CMC/SSD samples, was shown to have significant inhibition effect incomparison with drug references including penicillin G, chloramphenicol and erythromycin as positive controls (P<0.05).
