On character amenability of restricted semigroup algebras

We study the character amenability of restricted semigroup algebra ℓ¹r(S) and that of the semigroup algebra ℓ¹(Sr) on restricted semigroup Sr. We work on certain semigroups such as restricted semigroups, Clifford semigroups, Brandt semigroups and semilattice. In particular, we show that for a Clifford semigroup S, the character amenability of ℓ¹(Sr) is equivalent to that of ℓ¹r (S), this is in turn equivalent to ℓ¹(S) being an amenable Banach algebra. This same result was also shown to be true for a Brandt semigroup S over a group G with a finite index set J.
On Amenability in Banach algebras of Approximable Operators

We give conditions for the Banach algebra of approximable operators on the injective tensor product between a Banach space and its dual to be amenable. In particular, we show that if dimX < ∞ and X∗ has property (A), then A((Xˇ⊗X∗)∗)and A(Xˇ⊗X∗) are both amenable. We also extend the results of the authors in [4].

We study the character pseudo - amenability of semigroup algebras. We focus on certain semigroups such as inverse semigroup with uniformly locally finite idempotent set and Brandt semigroup and study the character pseudo - amenability of semigroup algebra l1(S) in relation to the semigroup S: In particular, we show that for a unital cancellative semigroup S; the character pseudo-amenability of l1(S) is equivalent to its amenability, this is in turn equivalent to S being an amenable group.
SOME FIXED POINT RESULTS FOR TAC-SUZUKI CONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS

In this paper, we introduce the notion of modified TAC-Suzuki-Berinde type F-contraction and modified TAC-(${\psi}$, ${\phi}$)-Suzuki type rational mappings in the frame work of complete metric spaces, we also establish some fixed point results regarding this class of mappings and we present some examples to support our main results. The results obtained in this work extend and generalize the results of Dutta et al. [9], Rhoades [18], Doric, [8], Khan et al. [13], Wardowski [25], Piri et al. [17], Sing et al. [23] and many more results in this direction.
Common fixed points of weakly contractive and compatible maps

In this article, the existence of coincidence and common fixed points for two pairs of R-weakly commuting maps satisfying weakly contractive conditions is established in a metric space. It was also shown that this common fixed point can be approximated by a modified Mann iterative process. The results obtained is an improvement on the recent results of Azam and Shakeel and others.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of mappings called the generalized orthogonal F-Suzuki contraction for a family of multivalued mappings in the setup of orthogonal b-metric spaces. We established the existence of some common fixed point results without using any commutativity condition for this new class of mappings in orthogonal b-metric spaces. Moreover, we illustrate and support these common fixed point results with example. The results obtained in this work generalize and extend some recent and classical related results in the existing literature.

In this paper, we study some fixed point properties of n-generalized Bregman nonspreading mappings in reflexive Banach space. We introduce a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common solution for a countable family of equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in reflexive Banach space. Further, we give some applications and numerical example to show the importance and demonstrate the performance of our algorithm. The results in this paper extend and generalize many related results in the literature.
On pseudo-amenability of C(X,A) for norm irregular A

Let X be a compact Hausdorspace, we show that for a norm irregular Banach algebra A with a bounded approximate identity, if A has an aproximate diagonal which is bounded with respect to the multiplier norm on A^⊗A, then C(X;A) has an approximate diagonal.

In this paper, existence and uniqueness results for the solution of a new classof equilibrium problem is established. Using the KKM technique, we establish the existenceand uniqueness of solutions of a new generalized mixed equilibrium problem (NGMEP) withtrifunctions. Further, we propose an iterative algorithm for finding a common element inthe solution set of the NGMEP and a fixed point set of a nonlinear mapping. We provedthe strong convergence of the algorithm to a common element in the solution set of a systemof NGMEP and a fixed point set of a countable family of totally quasi-φ-asymptoticallynonexpansive mapping in the framework of a real uniformly convex and uniformly smoothBanach space. Our result generalize many other results obtained recently in this direction.
