An experimental research is carried out to reduce injury values in FMH(Free Motion Headform) impact test of passenger car. Experimental deviation factors in the test procedure might give much influences on the test results, and the specific classification should be needed. Calibration of FMH, environmental condition of test room, impact location and angle, and impact velocity are discussed to set the test procedure correct and keep the results stable. The material, its expansion ratio and thickness of energy-absorbing foam are studied in order to get lower HIC measures by analyzing acceleration-time and force-displacement curves.<br/>
