이그나티우스의 서신에 대한 해석학적 접근과 이해 : 교회를 향한 그의 일곱 서신을 중심으로

속사도였던 이그나티우스에게는 신학적으로 몇 가지 부분에 있어서 최초라는 단어가 붙여진다. 그는 교부들 가운데 최초로 ‘일치’와 ‘연합’, ‘보편교회’라는 단어를 사용한 사람이었다. 그는 관용구를 사용한 최초의 교부다. 그리고 교회밖에는 구원이 없다는 것을 최초로 은유적으로 표현한 신학자다. 이런 이그나티우스의 일곱 서신을 해석학적 방법으로 접근하여 연구하는 것은 두 가지에 있어서 유익함을 준다. 첫 번째는 그 시대와 상황을 알게 한다. 두 번째는 그 시대의 신앙과 신학의 중심을 알게 한다. 특히 이그나티우스의 일곱 서신을 해석학적 접근을 통해 들여다보면 그의 서신이 가지는 형식과 내용의 특징이 발견된다. 형식에 있어서는 사도서를 따르고 있으며, 내용은 ‘그리스도’와 ‘십자가’를 중심에 두고 있다. 이것을 ‘은유적 방법’과 ‘적용의 방법’ 그리고 ‘교리적 접근’을 통해 내용을 전개하고 있다. 교회를 ‘분파’ 가운데 빠뜨렸던 이단들은 제자들의 ‘어록들’을 제시하며 거짓된 교리의 정당성을 주장한다. 여기에 대해 이그나티우스는 진리를 사수하고 신앙을 지켜내기 위해 사도들의 전통에 호소한다. 사도들의 전통이 교회의 정통으로 세워진다. 이때 관용구를 사용한 ‘교차적 참조’ 방식이 변증의 도구로 사용되기도 한다. 고린도전서를 비롯한 사도서를 중심으로 한 그의 서신들은 교회의 신앙과 신학을 갈등과 위기에서 구하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 이런 이그나티우스의 서신을 해석학적으로 접근하는 연구는 그의 신앙과 신학을 더욱 깊이 있게 조명해주는 ‘징검다리’와 같은 역할을 하게 된다. 그리고 현대 교회를 향해 세 가지 유익함을 준다. 첫 번째는 분파주의자들이 어떤 존재인지 분별력을 가지도록 한다. 두 번째는 진리를 직시하는 신앙관을 가지게 한다. 세 번째는 사도들의 전통을 통해 교리적 이해를 돕게 한다. Ignatius, who was a Apostolic Father, is theologically given the word first in several ways. He was the first among the Fathers to use the terms 'unity', 'union' and 'Catholic Church'. He is the first Father of the church to use the idiom. And he was the first theologian to metaphorically express that there is no salvation outside the church. Studying these seven epistles of Ignatius in a hermeneutic way is beneficial in two ways. The first is to know about the time and situation. The second is to know about the center of the faith and theology of that era. In particular, if we look into the seven epistles of Ignatius through a hermeneutic approach, the characteristics of the form and content of his letters are found. In terms of form, it follows the Apostles, and in the content, 'Christ' and 'Cross' are set at the center. The content is developed through a ‘metaphorical method’, a ‘application method’ and a ‘doctrinal approach’. Heretics, who have plunged the church into ‘schism’, claim the validity of false doctrines by presenting the disciples' 'words'. In response, Ignatius appeals to the tradition of the apostles to defend the truth and preserve the faith. The tradition of the apostles is established as the Orthodoxy of the Church. In this case, the ‘cross-reference’ method using the idiom is sometimes used as a dialectical tool. His epistles, centered on the Apostles including 1 Corinthians, play an important role in rescuing the church's faith and theology from conflicts and crises. A study that approaches Ignatius's epistles hermeneutically serves as a 'stepping stone' that illuminates his faith and theology more deeply. And it gives three benefits to the modern church. The first is to make sectarians discernable to know who they are. The second is to have a view of faith that faces the truth. Third, it aids in doctrinal understanding through the tradition of the apostles.

이그나티우스의 성찬신학에 대한 연구 : 영지주의자들과의 교리적 갈등을 중심으로

2세기 영지주의자들은 가현설과 그노시스(영지)의 교리로 교회를 심각한 갈등에 빠트린다. 여기에 대해 이그나티우스는 일곱 편의 서신을 기록한다. 순교를 앞두고 로마로 압송당하고 있던 이그나티우스가 기록한 「에베소인들에게」에서부터 「폴리갑에게」이르는 그의 서신은 하나의 유언과도 같았다. 이런 측면에서 그의 서신들은 자신의 마지막 사역을 펼쳐나가는 장면이기도 했다. 이그나티우스는 자신의 서신을 통해 성찬 교리로 영지주의자들의 교리에 맞선다. 이그나티우스가 성찬 교리를 제시한 것은 특별한 이유가 있었다. 첫 번째는 로마로 압송당하는 짧은 시간에 영지주의자들의 교리를 가장 극명하게 반증할 수 있었던 것이 성찬 교리였다. 두 번째는 사도들의 가르침을 교리적으로 가장 확실하게 설명할 수 있는 것이 성찬 교리였다. 세 번째로 영지주의자들의 교리가 거짓된 것임을 가장 확실하게 반증할 수 있는 것이 성찬 교리였다. 사도들의 대변자로 불리는 이그나티우스의 성찬 신학은 교리적으로 갈등에 빠진 교회를 향해 세 가지의 교리적 제시를 하게 된다. 1)기독론과 관련하여 교회로 하여금 그리스도의 ‘두 본성’인 ‘신성’과 ‘인성’의 교리에서도록 한다. 2)구원의 교리와 관련하여 교회로 하여금 십자가의 대속의 교리를 분명히 하도록 한다. 3)부활과 관련하여 교회로 하여금 흔들림 없는 교리에 서도록 한다. 이그나티우스는 교회로 하여금 성찬론을 통해 교리와 신앙의 두 기둥을 세우도록 한다. 그리고 그는 교리적 갈등으로 인하여 분열에 빠지지 않도록 ‘참된 일치’와 ‘연합’에 이르도록 교회를 지도하고 있다. 이런 이그나티우스의 성찬 신학은 우리에게 신앙과 신학의 본질을 그리스도의 실체 안에서 찾도록 그 길을 조명해주고 있다. The Second-century Gnostics plunged the church into serious conflict with the doctrine of Docetism and Gnosticism. In this connection, Ignatius wrote seven letters. His correspondence, from 「To the Ephesians」to 「To Polycarp」written by Ignatius, who was being taken to Rome ahead of his martyrdom, was like a will. In this respect, his letters were also scenes of unfolding his final ministry. In his letters, Ignatius confronts the doctrine of the Gnostic with the doctrine of the Eucharist. Ignatius had a special reason presenting the doctrine of the Eucharist. The first was the doctrine of the Eucharist that was able to disprove the doctrine of the Gnostics most clearly in the short time being taken to Rome. Second, the doctrine of the Eucharist was the most doctrinal explanation for the apostles' teachings. Third, it was the doctrine of the Eucharist that most certainly could disprove that the doctrine of the Gnostics was false. Ignatius is said to be a spokesperson for the apostles, and his Eucharist theology makes three doctrinal presentations to the doctrinally conflicted church. 1)Regarding Christology, he ask the church to stand on the doctrines of “divinity” and “humanity,” the “two natures” of Christ. 2) Regarding the Doctrine of Salvation, let the church clarify the doctrine of the redemption of the cross. 3) Regarding the Resurrection, make the church stand on the doctrine of unwavering. Ignatius leads the church to establish two pillars of doctrine and faith through the Eucharist. And he is leading the church to reach “true unity” and “union” so as not to fall into division due to doctrinal conflict. And the Eucharist theology of Ignatius illuminates the way for us to find the essence of faith and theology in the reality of Christ.

헤르만 바빙크의 중보자 그리스도의 삼중직 이해 : 창조회복으로서의 구원에 중점을 두고

헤르만 바빙크에 의하면, 우리의 구원과 관련하여 창세전에 성자 하나님에게‘왕’과 ‘선지자’, ‘제사장’의 삼중 직분이 주어지게 된다. 이 삼중 직분은 중보자이신 그리스도를 나타내고 있었다. 그리스도의 삼중직분은 아담의 회복을 이루기 위한 구속 언약에 근거하게 된다. 여기에서 그리스도는 둘째 아담이 되며, 첫째 아담의 대속을 이루게 된다. 중보자인 그리스도의 공생애는 첫째 아담의 회복을 위한둘째 아담으로서의 사역이었다. 바빙크는 그리스도의 공생애를 능동적이며, 수동적인 순종을 통해 설명하고 있다. 이때 순종은 ‘한 인격’ 안에서 일어난다는 것을 그는 증거한다. 바빙크는 아담의 형상회복을 말할 때 고난과 함께 순종 그리고 죽음을 ‘무름’으로 함께 설명한다. 그리고 성취에 대한 답을 중보자되시는 그리스도의 삼중직을 통해 조명하고 있다. 이때 여기에서 부각되는 것이 형상회복에 따른 창조회복이다. 바빙크는 중보자 그리스도의 삼중직을 통해 몇 가지 교리적인 입장을 강조한다. 첫째는 구속언약이며, 두 번째는 기독론이며, 세 번째는 구원론이다. 그리고 교회론을 통해 삼중직의 현재적 통치를 그는 설명하고 있다. According to Herman Bavinck, in relation to our salvation, before the Creation of the world, Son of God was given the threefold offices of ‘king’, ‘prophet’ and ‘priest’. These threefold offices represented Christ as Mediator. The threefold office of Christ was based on the covenant of redemption to accomplish the restoration of Adam. Here, Christ becomes the second Adam and accomplishes the atonement of the first Adam. The public life of Christ, the mediator, was the work of the second Adam for the restoration of the first Adam. Bavinck explains the public life of Christ through active and passive obedience. At this time, he testifies that obedience takes place in ‘one per- son’. When Bavinck speaks of the restoration of Adam s image, he explains suffering, obedience, and death as ‘satisfactio.’ And the answer to this fulfillment is illuminated through the threefold ministry of Christ as the mediator. And the answer of accomplishment is illuminated through the threefold office of Christ as the Mediator. At this time, what is highlighted here is the restoration of creation through the restoration of image. Bavinck emphasizes several doctrinal positions through the threefold office of Christ the Mediator. The first is the covenant of redemption, the second is Christology, and the third is soteriology. And through ecclesiology, he explains the present reign of the three- fold office.
