본 연구에서는 특허의 활용과 사업화 활성화를 위하여 특허의 가치를 평가하여 확정 할 수 있는 특허가치평가 모델의 나아가야할 방향을 설정하고 IP(Intellectual Property)금융의 발전방향에 대하여 검토하였다. 기존 특허의 평가는 특허 이외의 사업성과 시장성 등 외부요소까지 고려하여 가치를 평가하였다. 하지만 특허를 이용한 IP금융의 활성화를 위해서는 특허의 법적 권리성에 중점을 두어 평가하여 가치를 판단하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 특허의 법적권리성과 위에서 제시한 미국 판례의 합리적로열티를 판단하고 있는 15개 요소의 시장성 평가 보완을 통해 평가하는 것이 바람직하다. 이를 통해 IP금융의 활성화와 특허 활용을 위한 IP금융에 맞는 특허 가치평가 모델이 마련되어야 할 것이다. Facilitating the utilization of patents is increasingly important to promote innovation in this globalize world. Since technology innovation is such an important that it can determine a company’s economic growth and competitive enhancement, all the companies make lots of investment and efforts for technological innovation. As outcomes of technological innovation, there are patent rights. and that are mostly approved as a legal right called IPRs. To activate such an patent rights, financing techniques are needed for enterprises to rise funds through collaterals, such as technical and Patent rights. In reality, however, any IP related financial system is not really carry out an objective and reliable valuation on IP as a collateral for the activation of IP finance, this study intends to investigate various different methods of patent valuation need for IP finance
