This study was analyzied a typical hairstyle in the Late Chosun Dynasty by the Genre Painting in Sin Yun-Bok, reproduced modem from up-style. The analysis condition of hairstyle are as follows : shape, volume, method of twist. The hairstyle was dominated by Unzeunmeori-hairstyle using Gache, that was a various volume, method of twist. Danopungjeong was expressed triangle shape, a various huge Gache. Miindoo was shown triangle shape, having a huge Gache but was clean and simple. The women's hairstyle in the Late Chosun Dynasty of the Genre Painting by Sin Yun-Bok showed beauty in style of symmetry, asymmetry, and complex with their own unique styles. That showed a variety of hair styles that adorn women as they show segmented different styles in putting on Gache by locations even within the same range of styles. As a Modem Up style through Reproduction of hairstyle, the first work title is a budding flower. It is romantic image, triangle shape, up diagonal line. The second work title is fragrance of April. It is romantic image, triangle shape, down diagonal line. The third work title is lady of may. It is romantic image, triangle shape, down diagonal line. This study suggests new direction of up style through analysis of using the modeling feature of hairstyle in the Late Chosun Dynasty of the Genre Painting by Sin Yun-Bok. It’ s sincere hope that motive of tradition culture be applicable to the modem up style as a part of an effort for a beauty culture development, redeveloped in the modem esthetic sense and arouse necessity of tradition culture.
