Greenhouse managers require workers’ labor data efficient agricultural task management. The PRIVA system is an existing method for collecting labor data in which the worker must carry the RFID reader and touch it to the RFID tags attached to every work row in the greenhouse. PRIVA allows the manager to be freed from the need to record data. However, it imposes burdensome actions on workers to collect data instead. Worker may forget to touch the RFID tags with their handheld device as they leave a work row, meaning the completion of that row is not recorded. This issue is addressed by replacing workers’ tagging action with an automatic reading process. A work management system is proposed which consists of a database server, a robotic system with RFID reader, and a hand-held device for workers. Depending on the working conditions, the number of worker interventions for data collection can be reduced by up 1/10<SUP>th</SUP> of the original.
