In this work we can construct the narrow-band spectral filters based on the one-dimensional photonic crystal. One-dimensional photonic crystals is designed by using the standard multilayer filter and surface waves We analyze the transmissivity of this type filter for a range of wave lengths and incidence angles as a function of the air gap.

Binocular system has a pachan prism which is provided with a piece of prism. One of them has a roof surfaces which is provided with a pair of reflection surfaces intersecting at a 90 degree. A change in the phase difference produced between roof surfaces influence the quality of an image. In this work we designed the phase correction thin film systems for improve the quality of an image to be viewed.

An optically variable film is exhibit a significant color shift with changing observation angle. Metal-dielectric multilayer thin-film structures have large color shifts with angle, high chroma and a large color gamut that make them for various application. In this work we fabricated optically variable film and analysised color shift properties by measure the reflectance spectrum.

Acridine Yellow doped boric acid glass saturable absorber is fabricated as nonlinear media and low power optical conjugation is achived by the degenerate four-wave mixing(DFWM) experiments. Polarization properties of optical phase conjugation by DFWM have been demonstrated in this materials using a c.w. argon ion laser at wavelength 488nm. The dependence of the phase conjugated reflectivity on the intensity and wavelength of the pump beam is examined.

In this work we present a method to measure the displacement, which is based on Fringe Reflection Fourier transform deflectometry technique. Fringe Reflection system consists of standard sinusoidal fringe pattern, specular reflection planar mirror and a CCD camera. The specular reflection planar mirror is mounted on a translation stage. The CCD camera will capture the specular reflected standard sinusoidal fringe pattern on the planar mirror. Using the Fourier transform technique object surface phase distributions is extracted, and the object surface displacement will be calculated by the conversion table between the phase distributions and displacements. Also present the computer simulation and experimental data confirm the feasibility of this method. It is promising to use in high precision displacement measurement on the specular reflection surfaces.

The optical vortex beams has attracted more and more attention in recent years, because it possesses orbital angular momentum and can be used to micromanipulation of biological specimens or laser tweezers. In this work, we used to demonstrate the carrying orbital angular momentum of the vortex beam is put forward, which is based on the interference of Young's double-slit geometry. The interference pattern of the two slits depends on the helical phase structures and azimuthal order of the vortex beams. Also the sign change of the azimuthal order can be determined clearly by the interference patterns in the focus

The dynamical behavior of optical vortices with a pair of identical optical vortices as them propagate through free space is investigated. The rotation of two optical vortices with same charges are observed about the direction propagation. Observed rotation rate depends on the distance of vortex separation and core size.

An optically variable thin film system is designed to exhibit a significant color shift with changing observation angle. This color shift is also calculated the angle dependent color performance of the optically variable films. Also in this design the shape of the reflectance curve and the degree of color shift with viewing angle for meta-dielectric films depends strongly on the dielectric layer thickness. The color difference shows by using color parameter, L^(*), a^(*), b^(*), for thickness and viewing angle.

High reflection or antireflection thin film structure is can be stacked on the moving substrate. The structure of substrate/multilayerl/Air gap/multilayer2 can realize an optical switch. In this work, the optical properties of the thin film structure are described.
