장애아동을 양육하는 부모의 여가현황 및 여가만족에 관한 연구

본 연구는 장애아동을 양육하는 부모의 여가현황 및 여가만족을 알아보고, 장애아동 및 부모의 특징에 따라 부모의 여가만족에 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 부산, 충북지역에 있는 대학병원과 사설치료센터에서 치료를 받고 있는 장애아동의 부모에게 88부의 설문을 배포한 후, 최종 수거된 84부를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 장애아동 부모의 영역별 참여현황을 살펴보면, 취미·오락활동이나 휴식과 같이 정적인 여가활동의 참여가 동적인 여가활동의 참여보다 많았다. 장애아동의 특성에 따른 부모의 여가만족에 대해 알아본 결과, 아동이 학령기에 접어든 경우, 장애유형이 자폐스펙트럼인 경우 여가만족이 낮았다. 장애아동 부모의 특성에 따른 부모의 여가만족에 대해 알아본 결과, 아버지인 경우, 부모의 연령이 41~50세인 경우, 최종학력이 높은 경우 여가만족이 높게 나타났고, 전업주부인 경우, 월 평균 치료비가 많을수록 여가만족이 낮았다. 본 연구를 통해 장애아동 부모의 여가현황 및 만족에 대해 알 수 있었으며, 연구결과들은 장애아동 부모의 여가생활 및 여가지원 방안을 연구하는데 좋은 지침으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. This study was intended to find out the leisure situation and satisfaction of parents who rearing children with disabilities and to research what difference of leisure satisfaction according to the characteristics of children with disabilities and their parents. Total 88 questionaries were distributed to parents whose children were treated in university hospitals and private therapy centers located in Busan and Chungbuk areas, 84 finally collected copies were analyzed. The result showed that regarding the parents` areal participation situation, there was more participation in static leisure activities such as hobby and entertainment activities than participation in dynamic leisure activities. Regarding the result of the parents` leisure satisfaction according to their children`s characteristics, there was no significant difference in the gender of children. In case children turned school age, the leisure satisfaction was low in parents of children with autism spectrum. The result of parents` leisure satisfaction according to the parents` characteristics showed that fathers of age 41~50 and fathers with higher education had higher leisure satisfaction, and housewives who spent more monthly medical expenses had lower satisfaction. Through this study, leisure situation and satisfaction of parents of children with disabilities could be understood, and the result of this study can be used for a good guideline to research leisure life and leisure support methods of parents of children with disabilities.
