중학교 기술교과 친환경 주택 관련 메이커 교육 프로그램 개발

이 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술교과에서 적용할 수 있는 메이커 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용함으로써 학생들의 기술적 소양 함양에 도움을 주기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌을 고찰하고 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가의 단계를 거쳐 메이커 교육프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 메이커 교육 프로그램은 관련 전문가로 구성된 전문가 집단에 의해 타당도를 검증하고, 예비 적용에 참여한 학생들의 의견을 반영하여 수정 및 보완함으로써 최종 프로그램을 완성하였다. 이 연구 결과에 의하여 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 메이커 교수학습모형을 기술적 문제해결 과정과 연계하여 기술교과에서 메이커 교육을 적용한 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 둘째, 기술의 영역 중 건설 기술 단원의 친환경 주택 관련 메이커 교육 프로그램의 개발은 그동안 제조 기술 단원에서 디지털 도구를 활용한 주제 위주로 개발되었던 메이커 교육의 개념을 확장했다. 셋째, 친환경 주택 관련 메이커 교육 프로그램은 교실 또는 온라인으로 진행이 가능한 교육프로그램으로 비대면 수업이 이루어지는 상황 속에서도 중학교 기술교과에서 만들기 활동을 포함한 실천적 경험을 제공할 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to help students cultivate technical literacy by developing and applying maker education programs that can be applied in middle school technology subjects. For this purpose, the investigator reviewed the related literature and conducted research in the order of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The maker education program developed in the study was tested for its validity by an expert group consisting of experts in related fields and the opinions of the students who participated in the pilot application of the program were reflected to revise and supplement the program to its final version. Based on the findings, the study reached the following conclusions: First, the maker teaching-learning model was connected to the technological problem-solving process to develop maker education program in the subject of technology. Secondly, the study developed a maker education program related to eco-friendly house in the unit of construction technology under the domain of technology, thus expanding the concept of maker education, which used to develop around topics based on digital tools in the unit of manufacturing technology. Finally, it can be seen that a maker education program related to eco-friendly house is an education program that can be conducted in the classroom or online, and can provide practical experiences including making activities in the middle school technology curriculum even in the context of non-face-to-face classes.
