This paper reviews the structural configuration such as driveline, powertrain, and suspension of Hybrid Electric Vehicle/Electric Vehicle first and suggests the weak point in view of the driveline. Not only the research background that we shall investigate a shudder (or jerk) vibration is demonstrated but also the occurring mechanism of the vibration of Driveline is studied. In this study, influential factors are examined with respect to vehicle hardware and software. Research findings are presented based upon Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and vehicle test. Finally, in an aspect of a total dynamics , we suggest the necessity of comprehensive development of the vehicle performance as well as of correlation of longitudinal dynamics(drivability), lateral dynamics(handing), vertical dynamics (ride), and NVH in an aspect of a total dynamics.
