Vol.2013 No.1
This research is related to measurement of visual attention and evaluation of cognitive architecture interface while driving situation. Sometimes a lot of information provides on the vehicle display causes cognitive load and it also can be connected to the accident. This research is modeling visual information in head up display using cognitive architecture according to the embodied cognition. After that, through real test related visual attention, we measure visual attention time happened cognitive load and then compare and analyze with cognitive architecture. As a result, this research is to set up a exact visual stimulus time to cognitive architecture which is available to use in head up display.

This research was examined to compare the hierarchical value structure across different media user’s involvement. We focused on three types of social media such as smart phones, internet portals, and social networking services. A total of 413 respondents (181 males, 232 females) completed either online or paper and pencil based survey using APT hard laddering, and we obtained Hierarchical Value Maps (HVMs) as means of analyzing each stage for the means-end chain model (e.g., attribute, functional consequence, psychological consequence, and value). Building these connections graphically would facilitate the interpretation of the values of the different group of users and help to understand the product or service attributes into meaningful associations with them.
