The goal of this study is to development Quality-of-Life Assessment Tool (hereinafter called as "SusB-QOL") that focused on the physical residential environment, and based on Green Growth approach. The process of research is as follow; 1) Set data-pool of Quality-of-Life Assessment Index by documented studies. 2) Derive 4 main issues through Green Growth-based approaches. 3) Derive 25 detailed relevant items through questionnaire survey. 4) Develop assessment system to design a computer program. 5) Application of SusB-QOL is to real Building in Korea. The main results of this study is as follow; 1) The 4 Main issues of SusB-QOL is 'Health', 'Amenity', 'Safety', and 'Convenience'. 2) The most important factor of the physical residential environment in Korea is the 'Noise' and 'Water quality' among 25 detailed relevant items of SusB-QOL. 3) Index of P-Residential-Complex (in Bungdang, Korea) is 75 percent point, and the most improvable item is 'window area ratio and view'.
초고층 주거복합건물의 공용공간 계획특성별 주민의식에 관한 연구

This study aims to analyse a character of architectural planning from the high-rise mixed-use buildings that were built after 2000, to clarify the dwellers' satisfaction with indoor public space when they use it and their preference. For this research, drawings of twenty cases that are located in Seoul and Bundang area were analysed. Three characteristic cases were selected among them, and a questionnaire was asked to the dwellers who live in this three cases. The results which were derived from the process are as followed; Firstly, the planned indoor public space in the high-rise mixed-use building contains 13.3 public facilities. 5.6 facilities in space for leisure activity were the highest rank among those in space for daily needs, community, leisure activity, and the others. Secondly, the overall analysis of indoor public space location according to the building type and functional network are as followed; generally, space for daily needs is located in the ground floor, in some cases, it is located in both ground floor and basement, space for community is planned in the lower floors, sometimes, it is found in the middle floors. space for leisure activity spreads from basement to the middle floors, but mainly in the lower floors. Thirdly, use of indoor public space in the high-rise mixed-use building has a positive effect on enjoying the leisure activities and an attachment to the dwellers, while its effect on community were lower than it was expected. The requests for the indoor public space plan were about private demands or leisure rather than community or communication among dwellers.
