본 연구는 대학에서 AI 챗봇의 수업 활용 지원을 위한 기초자료 제공을 위해 AI 챗봇의 교육적 활용에대한 대학교수의 인식을 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 K 대학의 교수를 대상으로 일반적 특성(성별, 연령대, 전공계열, 직위)과 AI 챗봇에 대한 인식과 이해 수준에 대한 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고 총 126명의 자료를 분석했다. 서술형 응답은 주제 분석과 워드 클라우드분석을 통해 키워드를 도출하고, AI 챗봇 이해도, 활용 의지, 교육 필요도의 차이는 다변량 분산분석(MANOVA)을 시행하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 85.7%의 교수가 수업에 AI 챗봇을 활용할 의향이 있다고 밝혔다. 둘째, 교수들은 AI 챗봇의 교육적 활용에 대해 신기술 활용 경험, 수업의 개별화와 다양성 확보등의 효과를 기대하고 있었다. 셋째, AI 챗봇의 사용으로 인한 윤리적 문제와 창의성 저하 등에 대한우려를 가지고 있었다. 마지막으로 교수의 성별과 전공계열에 따라 AI 챗봇의 이해도와 활용 의지에 차이가 있었고, 직위에 따라 활용 의지와 교육 필요도에 차이가 있었지만, 연령대에 따라서는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 이런 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학의 AI 챗봇의 교육적 활용에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze faculty's perceptions of AI chatbots' educational use. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted targeting faculty at K University in Seoul, and a total of 126 responses were analyzed. We derived keywords through both thematic analyses and word cloud analyses and used MANOVA to validate distinctions in AI chatbots comprehension, usage intention, and training requirements. The research findings are as follows: Firstly, 85.7% of professors expressed their intention to use AI chatbots in their teaching. Secondly, faculty anticipated benefits, including gaining experience with new technologies, individualization, and diversification of classes in the educational use of AI chatbots. Thirdly, they had concerns about ethical issues and reduced creativity caused by the use of AI chatbots. Lastly, there were differences in AI chatbot comprehension and usage intention depending on the faculty's gender and major field, and in usage intention and training needs depending on faculty status, but there were no significant differences depending on age groups.
