Atmospheric CO₂ increase invoked as a significant contributor to global climate change. To reduce atmospheric CO₂, most research works are focused on CO₂ capture from point sources such as power plant and steel industry. In this work, attempts were made to capture ambient CO₂ using carbon fiber filters. Results show that breakthrough times decrease from 8.5hrs to 7.5hrs as CO₂ concentrations increase from 0.5% to 0.8%. Also, CO₂ reduction were 275ppm for 12mm filter and 230ppm for 9mm filter, respectively.
