유니버설디자 인 관점에서의 도서 분류 픽토그램에 관한 연구

도서관은 대량의 다양한 정보들을 수집, 정리하여 보관하며 필요한 이용자에게 신속, 정확하게 제공해주는 자료센터로서의 기능을 가지고 있다. IT 기술의 발달로 도서관의 정보량이 급격하게 증가함으로써 도서관이용자들의 소장 자료에 대한 접근 및 검색에 불편함을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 기존 도서 분류체계에 픽토그램을 활용하여 도서의 접근성을 높이기 위한 방법으로 이용자들이 보다 직관적이고 효율적이며 편리하게 도서관을 이용할 수 있도록 제안하고 검증하기 위해 수행하였다. 연구결과를 요약해보면 픽토그램 컨셉 디자인 선호도 조사에서 이용자들은 특정한 의미를 부여한 디자인보다 친근함과 재미감, 통일감이 적용된 디자인을 선호하였으며, 픽토그램의 외형 디자인 조사에서는 컨셉디자인에서 보여줬던 통일감, 안정감 보다는 주제의 특징이 뚜렷이 나타나는 다양한 모양의 외형 디자인을 선호하였다. 제작된 도서 분류 픽토그램 디자인으로 도서관 자료이용의 편의성과 기존 점보검색의 용이성이 높아질것이고, 국내·외적으로 표준화 된다면 주도권 확보와 파급효과가 증대 될 것이다. 또, 스마트폰과 같은 SNS,Twitter 등을 통한 주제정보 접근을 위한 어플리케이션 및 모바일 컨텐츠 개발에 기초로 활용될 것이다. The library is a large amount of various information collection, storage and requires the user to organize quickly and accurately as providing a resource center functions. With the development of IT technology, the rapid increase in the amount of information in the library by library users to access and search the holdings of experiencing discomfort. This study utilized the existing books pictogram classification system to improve the accessibility of the book as a way to become more intuitive and efficient, and convenient for the user to be able to use the library in order to perform the verification was proposed. Pictograms summarize findings from concept design preference survey design, users are given specific meaning than the friendliness and sense of fun, sense of unity was applied preferred design, pictogram design, exterior design concept was shown in the survey, unity, stability, rather than subjects features appear clearly preferred the design of the appearance of a variety of shapes. Books classified pictogram design produced by ease of library materials increase the ease of an existing information retrieval and, if the domestic and external standardization initiative will be enhanced security and spread. In addition, the smart phone, such as SNS, Twitter, and the application for access to information through the subject, and mobile content will be used as the basis for development.
