This study has compared the equivalent external pressure coefficients, (GCpf)eq, with 6 wind load provisions and wind tunnel test data. The wind load provisions are the ASCE 7-10, NBCC 2010, AS/NZS 2011, EN 2005, AIJ 2004 and KBC 2009. Experiment data on low-rise building have been obtained at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) to contribute to the NIST aerodynamic database. For the experiment, a model with 1:12 of roof slope and 4.9 and 12.2m of eave height was used under open terrain and suburban terrain conditions. (GCpf)eq was re-normalized based on the external pressure coefficients, GCpf, of ASCE 7-10. When compared to (GCpf)eq of the experiment data with 4.9m of eaveheight in open terrain, consequently, ASCE7-10(81%) ,NBCC2010 (84%), AS/NZS 2011 (70%), AIJ 2004 (68%) and KBC 2009 (53%) were all underestimated. Among them, KBC 2009 reveals the lowest value. On the contrary, EN2005 was overestimated with 122%. When the eave height was 12.2m, in addition, the same pattern was observed in most codes. EN2005 was slightly overestimated with 115%. When compared to (GCpf)eq of the experiment data in suburban terrain, in addition, the same pattern was observed in most code.
벤치마크 건물의 풍응답에 대한 유효성 검증에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to validate the results of predicted peak base moments and accelerations on the benchmark (Building B). Predicted peak base moments and accelerations on the benchmark building have been compared with those from previous study (Holmes and Tse, 2013). The wind tunnel test which is high frequency force balance test was peformed a boundary layer wind tunnel at Hanyang University Wind Tunnel Laboratory. The predicted base moments and accelerations showed a good agreement with previous study. In this study, wind-induced responses of the basic tall building (Building B) have been presented and validated through the comparison of those from previous study. In addition, it is necessary to validate the wind-induced responses on the advanced building (Building A) which is coupled mode shape.

A new probabilistic approach employing the Burr type XII distribution is proposed for pedestrian wind comfort assessment. The distribution model was tested through Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and chi-squared test based on measured data from Seoul, Incheon and Busan. According to the test. The Burr type 12 distribution produced better fit than widely used Weibull distribution. In estimating the exceedance probability of wind speed, the Weibull distribution tends to underestimate the exceedance probability while the Burr type 12 distribution gives overestimated result. Therefore, conservative results can be obtained by applying the Burr type 12 distribution to evaluation pedestrian wind comfort assessment.
Chen 술식을 이용한 족근관절의 만성 외측 불안정에 대한 재건술

Purpose: This study was designed to evaluate the clinical and radiographical results of anatomical reconstruction by Chen method for chronic lateral ankle instability. Materials and Methods: Fifteen patients with chronic lateral ankle instability who had undergone anatomical reconstruction of anterior talofibular and calcaneofibular ligaments by Chen method were evaluated retrospectively. Average age of the patients was 31.3 years, and average follow-up period was 15.5 months. Preoperative and postoperative radiographs including varus stress view and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were analyzed. The clinical evaluation was performed according to the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) scale. Results: Radiographically average talar tilt angle was $15.3^{\circ}$ preoperatively, and the difference with contralateral normal side was $10.1^{\circ}$. At last follow up, talar tile angle and the difference with contralateral side improved to $5.9^{\circ}$ and $1.3^{\circ}$ respectively. AOFAS scale was 66.6 preoperatively and 87.3 postoperatively. In MRI findings, four patients had associated intra-articular lesion such as articular cartilage defect, synovitis and osteoarthritis. The talar tilt angle improvement and AOFAS scale of patients without intra-articular lesion was better than those of four patients with intra-articular lesions. Surgical wound pain occurred in six patients and sural neuropathy in three patients. Conclusion: The anatomical reconstruction by Chen method was an easy and effective procedure for symptomatic chronic lateral ankle instability. Careful operative technique may prevent the surgical wound pain and sural neuropathy.
