        척추관협착증 환자에서 수중보행 훈련이 운동기능 및 보행에 미치는 효과

        Objective: Investigate the effects of Underwater Gait training on the balance in a spinal stenosis patient. Method: A Patient who had suffered from the spinal stenosis performed gait training with a Underwater Gait training. We tested Underwater Gait training program on subject 30 min per course, 5 days a week for 8 weeks. Before and after the experiments, we measured balance and motor functional ability and got the result of this following. After Underwater Gait training, difference of COP moving area and Kpa of both feet increased. Results: The results of this study showed that gait training with an Underwater treadmill, after training, had meaningful difference of COP moving area and Kpa of both feet. Conclusion: This study showed that gait training with a Underwater treadmill increased balance and motor functional ability that resulted in enhancement of motor performance.

        발목관절 근력 강화 운동이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 균형과 보행에 미치는 영향

        Objective: This study aims to investigate effect of ankle strengthening exercise on static, dynamic balance and walking ability to chronic stroke patient. Methods: Ambulant patients with chronic stroke was administered to the romberg test with opened and closed eyes in a standing position to evaluate static balance. LOS and TUG test has administered to determine dynamic balance. To determine the ability to walk, pre-tested 10 m walk test and 6 minutes walk test in both. Conventional physical therapy during 4 weeks and ankle strength exercise has administered during after 4 weeks. Re-assessment has done 4 weeks and 8 weeks after the intervention. Results: There was functional improvement to romberg test with opened and closed eyes in a standing posture after therapeutic interventions, for LOS and TUG test dynamic balance has increased and 10 m walk test and 6 minute walk test was improved in both. Conclusion: In recovery of balance and walking ability of stroke patient, ankle strength training is an effective exercise program and the effective verification associated with other factors for quality of life is required in the future.

        트레드밀 보행훈련 시 거울과 가상현실기반 이용이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행에 미치는 효과

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the differences in effect of using mirror and virtual reality treadmill training on stroke patients. Method: Three patients who had stroke performed treadmill training using mirror and virtual reality. We tested treadmill training programs on subjects 30 min per day, 5 days a week for 4 weeks. Before and after these experiments, we measured gait parameters on each subject. Results: After 4 weeks of training, we found the significant improvements on cadence and step length on treadmill training using mirror and virtual reality. Conclusion: The results suggested that meaningful differences between mirror and virtual reality on improvement of walking ability with stroke patients.

        지역사회기반훈련이 지적장애아동의 지역사회적응 및 운동처리기술에 미치는 효과

        Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of community-based training that was established on the basis of IADL(Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) on community adaptation and performance skills including motor skills and process skills of children with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities. Method: For this study, 20 children with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities aged between 10 and 15 who lived in Hwaseong City or were treated between June and August 2011 at rehabilitation center for disabled children located in the city, were divided into two groups of ten according to the degree of disability. Programs of community-based training were selected based on IADL. In order to compare their community adaptation before and after the training intervention, CIS-A was conducted. Moreover, AMPS was carried out to examine the objects' performance skills. For data analysis, a paired t-test was carried out using SPSS to compare the changes in CIS-A and AMPS indexes before and after the intervention. Moreover, ANCOVA was conducted to compare the changes in the two groups. Results: CIS-A and AMPS indexes increased in both groups after the community-based training intervention, indicating significant changes. However, there were no significant differences between the groups in the changes in the average indexes CIS-A and AMPS according to the degree of the disability. Conclusion: The results suggest that community-based training is effective for improving community adaptation and motor and process skills for children with intellectual disabilities, regardless of the degree of disability.

      • 발목관절 도수치료와 스트레칭이 중고령 여성의 균형과 족저압 중심점에 미치는 영향

        This study examines the effects of ankle manual therapy(MT), gastrocnemius Evjenth-Hamburg stretching(ST), and manual therapy & Evjenth-Hamburg stretching(MST) on middle aged female balance, ankle range of motion, and center of pressure. A total of 68 female were divided into three groups of 21, 23, and 24 and then were given one application of each of MT, ST, and MST at three hospitals in Seoul. In order to assess their balance before and after the application, the timed up and go(TUG) test and functional reach test(FRT) were conducted, and center of pressure(COP) migration was measured. A paired t-test was carried out for a before-after comparison of the TUG, FRT, and COP within each group. One-way ANOVA was conducted to compare the amount of change between the groups. Within each group, all of the three interventions showed significant differences in ankle range of motion and TUG within each group(p<.05), while the FRT and COP showed significant differences after the application of ST and MST(p<.05). According to comparison between the groups, ankle range of motion, TUG, and FRT showed significant differences(p<.05), and all of the test results improved in the MST group compared to the other groups. Applying manual therapy and stretching together is a more effective intervention than applying manual therapy or stretching alone. 본 연구는 중고령 여성들을 대상으로 발과 발목관절에 대한 치료적 중재가 여성노인의 균형 및 족저압 이동 분포에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보기 위하여 시행하였다. 연구방법은 68명의 중고령 여성을 대상으로 도수치료 적용군 21명, 스트레칭 적용군 23명, 도수치료와 스트레칭 적용군 24명으로 집단을 나누어 시행하였다. 결과적으로 발과 발목 관절에 대한 치료적 중재에서 도수치료 및 스트레칭 적용군이 발목관절가동범위, 균형, 족저압분포의 이동 면적에서 가장 크게 향상되었음을 보여주었다. 본 연구를 통하여 중고령 여성노인들에게 낙상사고를 예방하기 위하여 발목에 대한 도수치료와 스트레칭이 적절한 치료적 중재라고 사료되며 향후 노인분들의 운동시 참고자료로서 제시하고자 한다.
