죽순나방 被害 防除에 關한 硏究 : 被害 竹筍 識別을 中心으로 the discrimination of bamboo sprout of injuries
姜萬寧 진주교육대학교 1982 論文集 Vol.24 No.-
Investigating the state bamboo sprout of injuries to discriminate bamboo sprout of injuries from the general, in the early period which the larvae invaded, that which white color fertilized excrements were pushed out from the invasion-hole was in common symptons. 1. Bamboo sprout below height of 1m was without being fun of life and culm-sheath was changed from dark brown to clear brown and the gap came out from between culm-sheath and bamboo culm. 2. Bamboo sprout of injuries of height of some 1m∼3m was excessively deciduous up to *****(p. 153) or the color of one or two internodes of upper parts was changed from green to yellow and the end of bamboo sprout became deciduous. 3. The invasion-hole in bamboo sprout of injuries injuring more than 162cm, by ring-shaped, the partial aspects to travel in disguise were jutted out. And tree-sap was deeply flowed out at bamboo calm under invasion-hole, or there were some dried traces and by short of the 3-4 internodes in injured parts the length of internode was not even. 4. In inferior bamboo grove by more sired bamboo injured parts lowerly proved out, or injured process rapidly came out. And the larvae escaped from the end of bamboo sprout were 63.7% and among these larvae one part again injured other bamboo sprout. 5. In new-made bamboo grove the injury was not completely came into existence.

The life history of Dolgcoris baccarum Linnaeus(DBM), an insect pest of chrysantheemum was studied in field from mid april to mid October, and adult peak were late August to early September. The developmental period of the DBM from egg to adult were six or seven weeks in spring for first generation, four or five weeks in summer through autumn for the second and third generation, respectively. The average developmental periods of first. second and third generations of DBM were 11.5, 9.1 and 8.9 days for egg, 40.1, 35.5 and 33.5 days for nymph and 61.2, 50.5 and 41.2 days for egg to adult, respectively. The average oviposition periods of overwintered, first and second generation of DBM were 26.1, 24.2 and 21.4 days, respectively. And female and 80.5 eggs in second veneration, respectively. The average longevity of overwintered, first and second generation of DBM adult were 24.5, 28.1 and 27.3 days for female, and 15.6, 13.5 and 13.1 days fermale, reapectively. The sex ratio of DBM was found abort 1:1, And oviposition sites was epidermis of leaf and stem. Overwintered stage were the adult, DBM overwintered as immaturity and mating was made actively in the following spring.

A series of study was conducted to investigate the major Pentatomid pest of chrysanthemum, and to find some erfective insecticides to control them. Investigations were carried out from chrysanthemum fields for cut flower production in Chinju and Masan area during 1992 and 1993. Lygocoris Incourum Meyer-Dur(Hemoptera : Miridae) was round to be the major pest species. N Incorum in growing and spending most of it's time on host plants, such as solanum melongena. Citoullus Vnlgaris, Cucumis sativns, Artemisa asiatica ans Tanacetum, growing around chrysanthemum fields. But inviding and feed on chrysantemum as the adult only room August through October when it is flowering. No resistand variety was round out of 37 cultivars tested. And PAP-EC, MEP-WP, BPMC-EC and MEKABAM-EC are found to the effactive if applied 3∼4 times at 10 days interval from the early August.

Lectures have been currently substituted for practical experiments in elementary schools due to the shortage of experimental materials as well as experimental field for practice. The author devised the simple alternative teaching materials for seedling growth and grafting to do experiments. The results are summarized as follows ; 1) Seeds were germinated in a pot in the class room and then were brought home to grow as home projject. 2) Easy handling seeds for elementary students were selected, such seeds as light independent, long lasting, and lese sensitive to water content to germinate. 3) Disposable paper cups were used successfully as a pot. They were easy to get and handle for seediling growth. 4) Sawdust, bricket ashes, and commercial pot mix provided good aeration and proper water holding capacity. They can support seedling growth for 2-3 weeks. 5) Woodplate was used for grafting practice to fix branches.
