Analyzing the texts of physicsⅠand physicsⅡ that high school students are now learning in the current 7th curriculum, this study is aimed to grasp misconceptions by referring to the critical concepts shown in those subjects and reveal problems on the curriculum through the questionnaire given to 300 high school students in Seoul who will be engaged in science college. The questionnaire mainly consists of six questions dealing with the basic concept and background knowledge about physics. The questionnaire shows that most of the students have many misconceptions with less than 70% of the correct answers out of all the questions except for the question about a Parabolic motion. Especially less than 50% of the respondents have the correct answers on the questions of Action and Reaction and Free Fall of Two Objects at different heights, which proves that the misconceptions are so serious. Also, those misconceptions revealed in the 7th curriculum keep some high students from choosing the scientific subject as their required one due to the current situation that it remains as optional. As a result, students can''''''''t have the opportunity to correct their misunderstandings to scientific concepts, so it is very serious that students keep their intuitive conceptions which were formed by the students.
