The aim of this paper is to analyse Self-Concept Character of Judo Players and to provide basic data for the director's guidance. AII 458 players; 172 Judo players and 286 other kinds of piayers were selected at random, They have 5 years or more experionce and belong to university or business-sponsered team in Seoul, inchon, and Kyongki province
To measure the Self-Concept, the measuring-sheet developed by Jung Won-sik, It has 16ciassified items, and the answers were rated in 5 levels.
For obtaining the results, the researchers visited each team; and measured the Self-Concept in due form, III-formed result sheets were excluded.
To get the inferential statistical test for the results, the SPSSX program was used, and came to the following conclusion.
1. Comparing Judo players with other players, Judo players get higher scores -- T.P; total pisitive score, I; self identity score, II; self satisfaction score, III; self behavior score, A; physical self score, B; moral self score, C; personal self score, D; family self score, E; social self score, C.V; column variability score and D; distribution score. These aspects mean they have a strong Self-Concept Character.
2. Comparing Judo players with other players, they don't have any specific quality about S.C; self criticism. R.V; raw variability score. or T.V; total variability score
