현대복식에 나타난 페미니즘 특성연구 : 성논리'와의 연계성을 중심으로 = A study on the feminism charateristics as found in a modern fashion

국문 초록 (Abstract)

오늘날, 성의 해방과 성의식의 변화는 억압된 여성의 자유를 표출적으로 나타내고, 이원론적 성을 해체함으로서 다양한 성역할의 구조를 이루게 되었다. 21세기를 향하는 페미니즘의 성역할은 성적인 모험을 시도하면서 올바른 휴머니티의 길을 제시하며, 성의 혼재와 풍
자의 아이러니를 과장되게 표현하는 심미적 미학을 전개하고 있다.
성의 가시화를 통해 여성은 자아상실과 자아 정체성의 양면적 틀을 형성하며, 페미니즘의 힘의 논리적 전략을 시도한다. 그러므로, 페미니즘과 성의식의 변화에 따른 이해와 요구가 복식에 어떤 개념으로 표현되었는지 알아보는 것은 의의있는 일이라 사료된다.
본 연구의 목적은 전통적 가치와 미의식으로 설명이 불가능한 현대복식의 다양한 현상을 페미니즘의 성논리와 성의 해체적인 표현방식에 근거한 분석을 통하여 성의 영역을 설정하고 페미니즘의 성논리를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 생물학적 성과 사회적 성, 성차이와
문화의 이론을 고찰하였고, 성의식과 페미니즘의 사상이론을 근거로하여 특징적인 복식을 실증적인 자료와 함께 정리해 보았으며, 본 연구에서 포스트 모더니즘의 모방, 교차, 분산, 파괴의 특성을 페미니즘의 분리주의적 경향과 사회문화적 경향을 통해 재정의 해봄으로써
현대복식과 페미니즘의 성논리의 상관 관계를 규명하고자 하였다.

본 논문의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.
1.현대 성의식의 변화에 따라서 성의 이중적 의미는 성(Sex)과 성(Gender)의 차별성과 상관성의 결합으로, 사회문화적 경향의 제3의 성이 나타났으며, 성 차이는 시각과 문화의 차이를 좁히면서 복식에서 사회생물학적 입장의 페티시즘과 문화정치학적 입장의 트랜스베스
티즘과 같은 특징이 나타났다.
2.성의 해체적 의식은 동성애, 양성성, 포르노동 성영역의 가시화로 생물학적 성의 결정성과 사회문화적 범주에서의 성의식의 변화에 의한 다양한 의식의 전환을 요구한다.
3.페미니즘복식의 특성은 남성성, 여성성, 양성성, 전위성으로 분석하였다. 남성성은 남성복식의 착용으로 인한 크로스-드레싱의 복식 도착적 에로티시즘을 블루머즈에 부여함으로서 시작되어 사회적 계급을 없앤 가느손느 룩, 편리성과 기능성의 노동복식의 출현, 사회이데올로기의 휴머니즘 복식인 진(Jean)이 나타나게 되었다. 군복과 같은 남성적 복식은 여성성을 은폐한 밀리터리 룩으로 표현되었고, 매니쉬 스타일의 애니홀 룩과 유니섹스의 표현, 여피에 이르기까지 사회적 리얼리티를 반영하며 사회적 생산주체와 여권신장의 이미지를 표현하
었다.
여성성은 포스트 모던 상황하의 앤드로지너스에 대항하는 여성적 스타일에 근거하여 분리주의적 경향의 여성 특유의 평화, 모성본능과 같은 성적특질과 사회문화적 경향의 가부장제적 문화에서 나타나게 되는 방어적 성향에 기인한 특질을 결합한 특성을 반영하며, 다산복
식, 천사복식, 시스루 룩, 자연회귀 복식으로 표현되었다.
양성성은 사회문화적 경향의 성으로 인체의 조립과 왜곡의 작업으로 성을 말살하면서 나타나는 새로운 인간상을 제시하였다.
전위성은 펑크로부터 성해방과 하위문화적 상황하에서 노예의상과 포르노 T-shirts로 표현되며, 하위문화에서 지배문화로, 성적인 금기는 성적인 정당화로 순환되는 관계를 나타낸다. 페티시즘 복식은 Kinky Boots와 Catsuit의 복식으로 대표되며, 코르셋, 신발, 가죽,
모피와 같은 복식의 아이템과 란제리 룩을 역사와 기원, 배경및 현대복식의 표현원리로서 나타내었고, 트랜스베스티즘 복식은 크로스-드레싱과 제3의 성을 근거로 하여 이성복식의 모방을 남성의 스커트, 코르셋, 바지와 팬티, 고무 룩(Rubber Look). 동성애 복식으로 표현
하였다.
4.현대의 성의식에 표현된 페미니즘적 성논리는 포스트 모더니즘의 성의 모방, 교차, 분산, 파괴의 특성을 페미니즘의 분리주의적 경향과 사회문화적 경향을 나누어 의미를 분석하였다. 성의 모방은 혼성모방의 특징을 근거로 하여 성 생식기를 모방하거나 동물의 형상화를
통한 인간상을 제시하거나 혹은 성의 유희적 특성을 나타내며, 성의 교차는 사회문화적 경향의 페미니즘에서 발생하는 크로스-드레싱과 제3의 성, 양성성을 복식에 전이하면서 성을 표현하였고, 성의 분산은 빈곤, 선미학과 절제미를 통한 성의 모호적 특성으로 성을 말살하
며, 성의 파괴는 여성의 특질을 부각시키는 분리주의적 경향의 여성성을 풍자적으로 표현하거나 사회문화적 경향과 분리주의적 경향의 특성을 동시에 나타내는 특성을 퇴폐적 미학과 ‘매춘’부의 복식, 신데렐라 컴플렉스와 같은 여성성으로 나타내었다.
5.오늘날, 포스트모먼 상황하의 다양하고 폭넓은 이해성으로 인해 성과 페미니즘의 해체적 표현은 여성성의 굴레를 벗어나서 인간의 내면적인 힘의 논리와 진실한 생의 추구로서 페미니즘의 휴머니티를 위한 하나의 방편이 되어야 한다고 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Today, liberation of sex and the change in the sex consciousness have so exposed the suppressed of women's freedom and have broken up the dualistic sex as to make various sexual roles of structure. The sexual role of feminism to go toward the 21st century is the process to suggest the way of a righteous humanity, making an attempt at a sexual venture. Sex is developing the esthetic aesthetics to express the irony of a chaotic state and satire exaggeratingly. Through the visualization of sex, women give a double-sided shape to self-loss and self-retentionality, and trying a logical strategy of the force of feminism. Therefore, it is considered as a worthwhile job that we see in which conception the change in the sex consciousness of feminism and the understanding and demand according to it has been expressed.
The object of this study is to establish the province of sex in an internal and negative meaning with the creation of the meaning of progressiveness and emphasis, and to inquire into a sexual logic of feminism by analyzing various phenomenon of modern dress to be unable to explain with a traditional value and beauty consciousness, based upon a sex logic of feminism and a deconstructional expression mode of sex. For this, I have tried to look into correlation of a sexual logic between modern dress and feminism by studying the meaning of sex and gender and the theory of sexual difference and culture, by arranging characteristic fashions with connection to sex consciousness and the thought theory on feminism, by redefining the imitation, crossness, breakup and distinction of postmodernism characteristics of the external, internal meanings of feminism.
The study results of this thesis are as follows.
1. The dual meaning of sex expresses a form of the difference and mixture of Sex and Gender according to the change of modem sex consciousness, and the characteristics of the visual recognition and cultural disparity are growing vague.
2. The dissolutive consciousness of sex demands the switchover of various thinkings by the change of sex consciousness in the determinativeness of biological sex and sociocultural category owing to the visualization of the sexual region such as homosexuality, bisexuality and porno.
3. The feminism-fashion characteristics in accordance with the current of the times have been analyzed to Masculity, Femininity androgynous, and the symbol of an avant-garde sex. Masculity begun from giving bloomers a transvestism eroticism of cross-dressing because of wearing male dress, has had the follows appered; Garsonne look of removing the social class, work fashions with convenientness and functionality, and Jean, a humanism dress of a social ideology. The masculine dress like a military uniform was expressed Military Look to hide feminism, and was expressed according to the current of the times to Annie Hall Look with a mannish style, the expression of unisex, and gupie.
Femininity is expressed on the double-sided value of erasure and reappearance of history, concealment and bareness, chasteness and erotic, by dress of female fertility, bridal fashion, see-through look, a natural revolution fashion based on a feminine style to oppose to androgyny under the postmodern conditions.
Based on bisexuality and androgyny presented the new human-being image to come out, getting rid of sex by the framing and distortion of human body.
The symbol of an avant-garde sex is expressed in slave dress and porno T-shirts, under the conditions of subculture and sexual liberty from punk, and it expresses the relations circulated from subculture to the governing culture, from sexual taboo to sexual justification. The dress of fetishism and transvestism has expressed langerie look and a material, the history, origin and background of items, the expression princeple of modern dress in the visualization of a substructure, and it has expressed a bold expression consciousness of a sex area in expressiveness of sexual taboo.
4. In the feministic sex logic expressed in modern sex consciousness, the meanings of the imitation and breakaway of sex is divided into the external, internal characterics.
The imitation of sex subdivides into a satire of sex by wearing a heterosexual dress, the obscure characteristics of sex, and the rearrangement of haman body. The satire of sex prepares the humoristic space of a bisexuality and cross-dressing, the obscure characteristics of sex expresses a chaotic state of sex in the loss of sexual transparency and self-stagnativeness, and the rearrangement of haman body expresses sex paradoxically and metaphorically, reconverting the constituent elements of human body.
The separation from sex is to express the sexual taboo, and is divided into the intemperance of sex, the destruction of sex, and the breakup of sex. The intemperance of sex makes a distinctive emphasis of the structural heterogeneousness of sex, the destruction of sex expresses the punk porno image and human-body modification in the adhesion of symbols, and the breakup of sex expresses an ideological fashion with a nihilistic position.
5. Today, owing to the various and wide understanding under the postmodern conditions, the break-up expression of sex and feminism, ridding itself of the feminity yoke. Therefore, it is considered that the visualization of sexual role should be a means for the humanity of feminism by pursuing a logic of human internal force and a true sex.
