종교인의 기부실태와 활성화 방안 : 기독교인을 중심으로 = (The) religion humanity and justice base actual condition and activation plan : Christianity person in center

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 기독교인의 기부 실태를 파악하여 기부활성화 방안을 모색하고자 하는데 그 목적을 두고 기독교인들의 일반적인 특성과 기부 경험이 있는 사람과 기부 경험이 없는 사람의 실태를 파악하고 기부활성화 방안을 대해서 살펴보고자 했다. 위에서 살펴 본 연구의 결과들을 정리하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 기독교인들의 일반적인 특성을 정리하면 성별에서는 여자가 남자보다 기부에 참여하는 비중이 높았고, 연령은 40-60대가 중심을 이루고 있으며, 직업에서는 전문직, 자영업, 직장인, 주부 순으로 나타났다. 한편 교육수준은 고등 교육을 받은 사람의 비중이 크게 나타났고, 개인소득이 있는 경우가 없는 경우보다 더 기부하는 경향이 두드러졌으며 자원봉사의 경험이 있는 사람이 없는 사람 보다 기부에 참여하는 비중이 크게 나타났다.
둘째, 기부 경험자의 실태를 정리하면 기독교인들이 즐겨 기부하는 곳은 사회복지시설 및 기관, 방송사 시민단체, 그리고 교육기관에 대한 기부가 활발한 반면에 정당이나 문화예술단체에 대한 기부가 미약하게 나왔다.
기독교인들이 가장 자주 사용하는 기부 방법은 시설이나 기관에 본인 직접 전달하는 방법과 지로를 이용하고 있다. 온라인, ARS, 그리고 인터넷을 이용한 기부 방법은 선호하는 기부 방법이 아닌 것으로 나타났다.
기독교인들이 기부를 하는 목적은 불우이웃을 도우려는 마음과 동정심이 큰 비중을 차지하고 있고, 환경운동, 노동운동, 여성운동 등에 대한 기부는 아주 미약한 수준으로 사회운동성향이 미흡하다고 하겠다.
기독교인들의 기부 횟수를 보면 주로 비정기적인 후원을 하는 것으로 나타나 아직 기부를 일상적으로 생활화하는데는 아직 미흡하게 나타났다.
기독교인들의 기부 동기를 보면 종교적인 신념이 36.6%로 가장 높게 나왔고 스스로 보람된 일을 하고 싶어서 26.8%로 나타났다. 종교적인 신앙에 근거하여 기부를 하고 있음을 보여 주고 있다.
기독교인들의 기부 중단 이유는 경제적 여유 부족과 후원금 사용에 대한 신뢰 부족이 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다.
기독교인들의 후원금 활용 신뢰도 및 후원기관에 대한 만족도 그리고 후원자 관리의 만족도에서 후원활동에 참여하고 있는 대다수가 긍정적인 반응을 보이고 있다.
셋째, 기부경험이 없는 기독교의 실태에서 기부 권유 정도에서 특정단체에 대한 기부 권유를 받은 적이 없다고 응답한 비율이 51.4%, 한 두 번 받았다가 36.3%로 나타났고 기부 참여 의향을 묻는 질문에 참여하겠다고 응답 비율이 73.3%로 높게 나타났다. 한편 십일조 및 헌금 외에 특정 단체나 기관에 기부하지 않은 이유로는 경제적으로 여유롭지 않기 때문에와 십일조 및 헌금으로 충분하다고 응답한 비율이 높게 나타났다.
넷째, 기부활성화 방안에 대한 결과를 살펴보면 기부문화개선 방안에서 기부금 사용의 투명성, 기부에 대한 인식과 교육의 필요, 언론매체의 홍보순으로 나타났다. 세제혜택 확대에 따른 기부금의 정도 인식에서는 현재 상태로 유지하겠다 50.2% 가장 많은 비중을 차지하고 더 내겠다는 24%로 나타났다. 기독교인의 후원정도 인식과 교역자의 기부에 대한 권유정도 그리고 가정에서의 기부 권유 내지 교육정도는 아주 미흡한 수준으로 나타났다.
