解放後 李承晩의 單獨政府 樹立運動에 대한 一硏究 = (A) study on Rhee Syngman's political movement on establishment of the separate government in Korea

This study was projected with the purpose of reappraising the Syngman Rhea's political movement of the establishment of separate government in Korea.
Analyzing the conflicts between the panitican powers during the Korea's liberation period(1945-1948) is one of the most fundamental subjects in the Korean history, especially in the study of dividing procedure. Because it is the most important linKage period with which we can explain the previous colonial society end the modern Korean history.
To recognize the political situation of the period from 1945, when Korea was independent, to 1945, when the government of R.O.K. was established, is linKed with the recognition of that of our days. There were many political movements in the period 1945-48, and Rhea's political movement of the establishment of separate government in South Korea was ore of the most important movement among them.
Moreover, Rhee's movement is of consequence with views that It gave made the base of political power and social structure of Korea after that rime.
In order to analyze Rhee's movement, this study unfolds Its discussion as follows; Chapter Ⅰ presents the Introduction of problem of this subject, purpose, scope and methods of this study. Chapter Ⅱ the bacKground. of the separates government establishment, examines the process of the divisor of Korea, military administration of U.S.A., political situation in 1945 include with the political activities and ideas of Oho and of Democratic Marry of Korea and things American. ChapterⅢ, Ⅳ the process of developemerr of Rhee's movement deals with the political circumstances in 1946-48 and the struggles of Rhee's movement. Cgaprger Ⅴ Summarizes and concludes this study.
Singman Rhee planned his movement of the establishment of separate government in Korea directly after the internal political groups were divided into pros and cons of trusleeship in Korea. The reason is that the world strategies of U.S. and the Soviet Union made it difficult for Rhee to execute the plan of the establishment of united government in Korea. When the first conference of Gorier Commission was broKer off, Rhee thought that the possibility of she establishment of she united government was rare,so he proclaimed his movement directly through Gangues statement. And his movement was developed into she establishment of separate South Korean government in she context of confrontation of world strategies between US. and S.U., and disintegration in south Korean political groups and exclusive socialization in north Korea.
Rhee's political movement gave so be evaluated wish both two dimensions; one is a response-strategic dimension, i.e., Rhee's realistic political movement as Rhee's world strategy for external causes which confined she political situation of Korea. The other is that movement as a tool so get the internal hegemony.
In conclusion, Rhee's political movement in she dimension of response-strategy to she world system can be accepted positively despises his negative aspects, as an inevitable policy in that political situation which external cause were dominant: But his movement disintegrate she internal politics and he used is as she tools of seizing power in internal politics. Rhee's political movement gas two sides in one coin, so we muss estimate is in the multi-dimension.
