The TPC-Drum detector was developed as an active-target time projection chamber for future low-energy LAMPS experiments at RAON. This thesis presents the detector design, signal-processing procedure, pad-gain calibration, and three-dimensional track- reconstruction study using radioactive source measurements. A 55Fe X-ray source was used to establish the waveform-processing procedure and to evaluate the pad-to-pad response variation of the readout plane. Fixed-pattern-noise subtraction, residual background subtraction, and relative gain correction were applied to obtain stable charge information for reconstruction. An 241Am alpha source was then used to evaluate the tracking performance of the detector under controlled source- test conditions. The reconstructed alpha particle tracks were used to study the source-position consistency, visible track length, transverse charge spread, and a charge-based 𝑑𝐸/𝑑𝑥 estimator. The source-position distribution was centered near the nominal source location, and the reconstructed track length was consistent with the geometrical scale of the active pad region. The transverse charge spread increased with drift length, as expected from electron diffusion during drift. A charge-based 𝑑𝐸/𝑑𝑥 estimator was constructed using the gain-corrected charge and reconstructed local track length, with the global response scale adjusted using Geant4-based simulation. These results demonstrate that the TPC-Drum detector can provide three-dimensional tracking and charge-based detector-response observables for alpha particle tracks. Force-coming detector configurations, including a downstream silicon detector array and a voltage-dropper structure in the beam-line region, are also discussed as extensions toward beam experiments and charged-particle identification.
