직장인의 직무소진이 자살사고에 미치는 영향 : 우울과 분노의 순차적 매개효과 = The Effect of Burnout on Suicidal Ideation among Employees: The Sequential Mediating Roles of Depression and Anger

국문 초록 (Abstract)

직장인의 직무소진이 자살사고에 미치는 영향: 우울과 분노의 순차적 매개효과 본 연구는 직장인의 직무소진이 자살사고에 미치는 영향에서 우울과 분노의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 만 19 세 이상 일반 직장인을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며, 불성실 응답을 제외하고 총 400명의 자료를 수집하였다. 측정도구로는 직무소진 척도 （MBI-GS）, 자살사고 척도（SIQ）, 우울 척도（PHQ-9）, 분노 척도（STAXI-K）를 사용 하여 자기보고식으로 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 27.0.1과 PROCESS macro 4.2를 사용하여 상관분석, 단순매개효과, 순차적 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직장인의 직무소진, 우울, 분노, 자살사고 간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 모든 변인 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 우울은 직무소진과 자살사고 간의 관계를 완전 매개하였다. 셋째, 분노 는 직무소진과 자살사고 간의 관계를 부분 매개하였다. 넷째, 직무소진과 자살 사고 간의 관계에서 우울과 분노의 순차적 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 직무소진 이 자살사고에 미치는 직접효과는 유의하지 않았으나 우울, 분노, 그리고 우울 과 분노를 순차적으로 경유하는 간접효과가 모두 유의하여 순차적 완전매개효 과가 검증되었다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의와 시사점, 제한점과 후속 연구에 대 한 제언을 함께 논의하였다. 주요어 : 직무소진, 자살사고, 우울, 분노, 순차적 매개효과

The Effect of Burnout on Suicidal Ideation among Employees:
The Sequential Mediating Roles of Depression and Anger
The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediating effects of depression
and anger in the relationship between job burnout and suicidal ideation among employees.
For this purpose, an online survey was conducted with Korean employees aged 19 years
and older nationwide, and data from a total of 400 participants were collected after
excluding insufficient responses. The variables were measured using self-report
questionnaires, including the Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey （MBI-GS）, the
Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire （SIQ）, the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 （PHQ-9）, and the
State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory-Korean Version （STAXI-K）. The collected data were
analyzed using SPSS 27.0.1 and PROCESS macro 4.2 to conduct correlation analysis,
simple mediation analysis, and sequential mediation analysis.
The results of the study were as follows. First, job burnout, depression, anger, and
suicidal ideation showed significant positive correlations with one another. Second,
depression fully mediated the relationship between job burnout and suicidal ideation. Third,
anger partially mediated the relationship between job burnout and suicidal ideation. Fourth,
the analysis of the sequential mediating effects of depression and anger in the relationship
between job burnout and suicidal ideation revealed that the direct effect of job burnout on
suicidal ideation was not significant, whereas the indirect effects through depression, anger,
and the sequential pathway from depression to anger were all significant, confirming a
sequential full mediation effect. Finally, the implications, limitations, and suggestions for
future research were discussed.
