코스프레와 코스프레 메이크업 인식이
심리적 안정감 및 수용의도에 미치는 영향

최근 유튜브, 인스타그램, 틱톡 등 다양한 디지털 플랫폼의 영상 및 숏폼(short-form) 콘텐츠를 통하여 일반 대중들이 뷰티 관련 정보와 아이템을 접하는 것은 매우 자연스러운 현상이 되었으며 대표적인 콘텐츠 중 하나가 코스프레라 할 수 있다.

이에 본 연구는 코스프레와 코스프레 메이크업이 심리적 안정과 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하고자 한다. 이에 코스프레를 인식하고 있는 광주 전남 지역의 남녀를 대상으로 설문지 총 330부를 배포하여 311부를 최종 분석에 사용하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 코스프레 인식이 심리적 안정감에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 독립변수별로는 문화현상 인식(β=.315, p<.001), 이미지(β=.283, p<.001), 개성(β=.164, p<.05), 관심(β=.133, p<.05)이 심리적 안정감에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

둘째, 코스프레 메이크업 인식이 심리적 안정감에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 메이크업 인식이 높을수록(β=.489, p<.001)은 심리적 안정감에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

셋째, 코스프레 인식이 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 독립변수별로는 이미지(β=.358, p<.001), 개성(β=.248, p<.001), 관심(β=.218, p<.001), 문화현상 인식(β=.186, p<.001)이 수용의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

넷째, 코스프레 메이크업 인식이 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 코스프레 메이크업 인식(β=.630, p<.001)은 수용의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

다섯째, 심리적 안정감이 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 심리적 안정감(β=.590, p<.001)은 수용의도에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

따라서 코스프레와 코스프레 메이크업에 대한 인식이 심리적 안정감과 수용의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 코스프레와 코스프레 메이크업이 단순히 특정인만을 위한 소비문화로서의 역할을 넘어 심리학 분야와의 융합을 통해 창의적이고 심리적인 활동으로 확장 가능한 하나의 영역으로 발전할 가능성을 보여준다.

The Effects of Cosplay and Cosplay Makeup Awareness on Psychological Safety and Acceptance Intention

Recently, it has become quite natural for the general public to access beauty-related information and items through videos and short-form content on various digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, and one of the most representative types of content is cosplay.

Therefore, this study aimed to empirically examine the impact of cosplay and cosplay makeup on psychological stability and acceptance. A total of 311 questionnaires were distributed to 330 men and women familiar with cosplay, of which 311 were used in the final analysis. The results are as follows.

First, as a result of verifying the effect of cosplay awareness on psychological stability, it was found that cultural phenomenon awareness (β=.315, p<.001), image (β=.283, p<.001), personality (β=.164, p<.05), and interest (β=.133, p<.05) had a significant positive effect on psychological stability.

Second, as a result of verifying the effect of cosplay makeup awareness on psychological stability, it was found that the higher the makeup awareness (β=.489, p<.001), the more significantly positive the effect was on psychological stability.

Third, as a result of verifying the influence of cosplay awareness on acceptance intention, it was found that image (β=.358, p<.001), personality (β=.248, p<.001), interest (β=.218, p<.001), and cultural phenomenon awareness (β=.186, p<.001) had a significant positive influence on acceptance intention by independent variable.

Fourth, as a result of verifying the effect of cosplay makeup recognition on acceptance intention, it was found that cosplay makeup recognition (β=.630, p<.001) had a significant positive effect on acceptance intention.

Fifth, as a result of verifying the effect of psychological stability on the intention to accept, it was found that psychological stability (β=.590, p<.001) had a significant positive effect on the intention to accept.

Therefore, perceptions of cosplay and cosplay makeup were found to have a positive impact on psychological stability and intention to accept it. Therefore, cosplay and cosplay makeup appear poised to expand into creative and psychological realms by integrating with psychology within the makeup field.
