국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램이 중학교 3학년 학생의 진로개발역량에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Korean Language Subject Linked to Career Education Program on Career Development Competencies for Third-Year Middle School Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램이 중학교 3학년 학생의 진로개발역량에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 데 있으며, 이를 구체화하기 위해 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램은 중학교 3학년 학생의 진로개발역량에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램은 중학교 3학년 학생의 진로개발역량 하위영역(진로설계역량, 진로준비역량)에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가? 위의 문제를 살펴보기 위해 충북 소재 공립 J 여자중학교 3학년 167명이 재학하는 전체 7개 학급 가운데 무작위로 선정한 2개 학급에서 각각 23명을 선정하여 국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램을 적용한 반을 실험집단으로 설정하고, 적용하지 않은 반은 비교를 위한 통제집단으로 구성하였다. 총 8차시 동안 프로그램을 운영하였으며, 그 효과를 확인하기 위해 실험집단과 통제집단 모두에게 동일한 진로개발역량검사를 프로그램 적용 전과 후에 실시하였다. 연구문제 분석을 위해 실험집단과 통제집단 각각의 사전·사후검사 결과를 활용하여 진로개발역량의 평균과 표준편차를 비교하였다. 또한 SPSS ver 19.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 독립표본 t-검정과 공변량 분석을 수행함으로써 통계적 유의성을 검토하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램은 중학교 3학년 학생의 진로개발역량을 유의미하게 향상시켰다. 둘째, 국어 교과연계 진로교육 프로그램은 중학교 3학년 학생의 진로개발역량 하위영역(진로설계역량, 진로 준비역량)을 유의미하게 향상시켰다. 이 연구를 통해 국어 교과와 연계한 진로교육 프로그램이 중학교 3학년 학생들의 진로개발역량과 하위 요소에 긍정적인 변화와 성장을 이끌어낸다는 점을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구 방향 및 교육 현장 적용을 위한 제언도 함께 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find out how the career education program linked to Korean language subjects affects the career development competency of 3rd grade middle school students. Specific research questions for this are as follows.
First, does the career education program linked to the Korean language subject have a significant effect on the overall career development competency of third-year middle school students? Second, does the Korean language subject-linked career education program have a significant effect on the career development competency sub-areas (career design competency, career preparation competency) of third-year middle school students?
In order to examine the above problems, 23 students from two classes were selected out of seven classes attended by 167 third graders of public J Girls' Middle School in Chungbuk, and classes that provided Korean language subject-linked career education programs were classified as experimental groups, and classes that did not were classified as control groups. The program was conducted over eight sessions, and a career development competency test was conducted on both groups before and after to verify the impact of the Korean language subject-linked career education program on the career development competency of third-year middle school students.
To verify the research problem, the average and standard deviation of career development competencies were calculated before and after the program for each group, and independent sample t-test and covariate analysis were performed using the statistical program SPSS ver 19.0.
The results and conclusions of this study are as follows.
First, the career education program linked to Korean language subjects significantly improved the overall career development competency of third-year middle school students. Second, the career education program linked to Korean language subjects significantly improved the career development competency sub-areas (career design competency, career preparation competency) of third-year middle school students.
From the above research results, it was concluded that the career education program linked to Korean language subjects had a positive effect on the improvement of the overall and sub-area of career development capabilities of third-year middle school students, and discussions and suggestions for follow-up research were presented.
