This study examines how gender, exposure to role models, and digital engagement shape the entrepreneurial intentions of university students in South Korea. The purpose of the study was to examine gender-based differences in entrepreneurial intentions and the extent to which the digital economy and role models shape students' entrepreneurial thinking. The research was grounded in multiple theoretical frameworks, including the Theory of Planned Behavior, Social Cognitive Career Theory, Role Model Theory, and Gender Role Theory. Results showed that digital engagement and exposure to role models were stronger predictors of entrepreneurial intentions than gender, which had only a limited and context-dependent effect.
