ABSTRACT
Switching devices have become essential elements in modern power conversion systems. With the continuous increase in operating voltage and switching frequency, several challenges emerge, among which switching ringing is a critical concern. Switching ringing, characterized by transient voltage oscillations during switching events, can cause electromagnetic interference (EMI) and excessive device heating. In this paper, the switching ringing in a Full-Bridge inverter is theoretically analyzed by representing the parasitic effects as an equivalent series RLC circuit, and practical PCB design approaches for ringing suppression are proposed.
