순천만국가정원 문화예술프로그램의 효용가치에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국내 최초 국가정원으로 지정된 순천만국가정원의 조성은 정원에 대한 사회 적 중요성과 정원문화의 대중화를 촉진하는 계기가 되었다. 순천만국가정원 에서는 다양한 문화예술프로그램이 운영되고 있으며, 이는 방문객에게 차별 화된 경험을 제공하는 것으로 나타난다. 본 연구자는 순천만국가정원 문화예 술프로그램이 관람 콘텐츠를 넘어 방문객의 정서와 경험에 영향을 미치며, 사회와 지역에 가치를 제공한다는 점에 주목하여, 이러한 특성을 반영하기 위해 심리적, 사회적, 문화적 가치를 포괄할 수 있는 효용가치의 개념을 적 용하였다. 기존 국가정원에 관한 연구는 주로 방문객 만족도나 이용 행태 분 석에 초점을 두고 있어, 국가정원에서 운영되는 문화예술프로그램의 영향을 실증적으로 분석한 연구는 상대적으로 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 공 유가치창출(CSV) 이론의 관점에서 순천만국가정원 문화예술프로그램의 효용 가치를 실증적으로 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 연구 목적을 바탕 으로 본 연구는 데스크리서치를 통해 순천만국가정원에서 운영하는 문화예 술프로그램을 고찰한 후, 관련 분야의 전문가 집단을 대상으로 델파이 조사 를 실시하여, 범주별 효용가치 항목을 도출하였다. 전문가 설문 결과는 CVR 척도를 사용하여 타당성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 순천만국가정원의 문화예 술프로그램의 효용가치 범주를 생태환경, 바이오필리아, 도시브랜딩, 문화예 술 네 가지로 분류하였으며, 범주별로 상이한 효용가치 항목을 확인하였다. 도출된 효용가치 항목 중 타당성 기준을 충족한 세부 요인이 최종적으로 유 지되어, 순천만국가정원 문화예술프로그램은 환경, 정서, 문화, 공공 가치 등 다양한 측면에서 높은 효용가치를 창출하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기 존의 순천만국가정원에 관한 연구가 방문객 중심이라는 한계를 보완하고, 질 적연구와 양적연구 요소를 혼합하여 가치체계를 제시하였다는 점에서 다른 연구와 차별점이 있다. 특히 전문가 합의를 통해 요인과 항목을 새롭게 확립 한 것에 학문적 의의를 가진다. 이는 향후 관련 주제의 후속 연구에 적용할 수 있는 분석 틀을 제시하였으며, 국가정원의 문화예술프로그램 정책 및 기 획에 실질적인 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. 주제어: 순천만국가정원, 문화예술프로그램, 효용가치, 공유가치창출(CSV), 바 이오필리아

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The establishment of Suncheonman National Garden, designated as the first national garden in South Korea, marked a significant milestone in enhancing the social importance of gardens and promoting the popularization of garden culture. A wide range of cultural and artistic programs have been operated at Suncheonman National Garden, providing visitors with differentiated experiences. This study focuses on the premise that such cultural and artistic programs extend beyond mere viewing content to influence visitors’ emotions and experiences, thereby generating value for both society and the local community. To reflect these characteristics, the concept of utility value, encompassing psychological, social, and cultural dimensions, was adopted. Previous studies on national gardens have primarily concentrated on visitor satisfaction or usage behavior, resulting in a relative lack of empirical research examining the impacts of cultural and artistic programs operated within national gardens. Accordingly, this study aims to empirically identify the utility value of cultural and artistic programs at Suncheonman National Garden from the perspective of Creating Shared Value(CSV) theory. Based on this research objective, a desk research analysis was first conducted to review cultural and artistic programs operated at Suncheonman National Garden. Subsequently, a Delphi survey was administered to a panel of experts in relevant fields to derive utility value items by category. The validity of the expert survey results was verified using the Content Validity Ratio(CVR) method. The findings classified the utility value of cultural and artistic programs into four categories: ecological environment, biophilia, city branding, and culture and arts, and identified distinct utility value items within each category. Among the derived items, those meeting the validity criteria were retained as final sub-factors. The results indicate that cultural and artistic programs at Suncheonman National Garden generate high levels of utility value across multiple dimensions, including environmental, emotional, cultural, and public values. This study contributes to the literature by addressing the limitations of prior visitor-centered research on Suncheonman National Garden and by presenting a structured value framework through a mixed-methods approach integrating qualitative and quantitative elements. In particular, the study holds academic significance in newly establishing factors and items through expert consensus. Furthermore, it provides an analytical framework applicable to future related research and offers foundational data that may be practically utilized in policy development and planning of cultural and artistic programs in national gardens.
