복음 수용 증진을 위한 “기경(起耕)” 사역으로서의 NCMN 5K운동에 관한 선교신학적 고찰 및 매뉴얼 개발 = Missiological Reflection of the NCMN 5K Movement as A “Breaking up the Ground” Ministry to Promote The Gospel Acceptance and Develop a Manual for the Church

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to explore the significance and practical application of the NCMN (Nations Changer Movement & Network) 5K (5 Kilometer) movement as a missionary ‘Ki-kyung’ (Breaking the Ground) ministry to promote Gospel acceptance in Korean society as well as in many parts of the world, and to develop a manual that can be used in the pastoral field. What motivated this writing is that the rate of Gospel acceptance is dwindling and the hearts of people are becoming more hardened in many other places as well as Korean society. In addition, by demonstrating that the NCMN 5K movement is a ministry that promotes gospel acceptance, we will prove its validity and further suggest the direction of future development.
In Chapter I. Ministry Needs, the writer diagnosed the difficult conditions for evangelism faced by the Korean church today due to the church’s secularization, the departure of the next generation from her, and the decline in social trust. In this situation, he emphasized the need for the ki-kyung ministry for the people to promote the acceptance of the gospel beyond simple proclamation of the gospel and discussed the need for a ministry of self-ki-kyung (in this case, it means as close as self-discipline) as well as the need for a minister who is the messenger of the gospel. In addition, from the writer's point of view, she suggested the urgency of establishing a theological basis in a missiological perspective and developing a manual for the 5K movement.
In Chapter II, Literature Survey, first, the writer examines the importance of the condition, environment, and readiness of evangelists for effective acceptance of the gospel through research on gospel acceptance. Second, she reviewed the books and dissertations on the Ministry of Ki-kyung and analyzed the writings that went beyond the simple definition of concepts and sought direction and practical possibilities in the mission field. Third, the NCMN 5K movement was examined as an actual model of ki-kyung ministry, which has two aspects: self-ki-kyung/discipline and external ki-kyung/breaking up the hardened people’s hearts. Through this, it was confirmed that the ministry of ki-kyung is a key strategy to help the seeds of the gospel take root, and the importance of promoting gospel acceptance that was overlooked by previous studies was theoretically supplemented.
In chapter III. Biblical and Theological Foundation, the writer, from the perspective of redemptive history of the expansion of the kingdom of God, systematically explored the acceptance of the gospel, the ministry of ki-kyung, and NCMN 5K Movement. First, the concept and theological meaning of gospel acceptance were examined, and the influence of differences in acceptance on gospel response was analyzed through the parable of Jesus, and the necessity of a strategy was suggested accordingly. Second, through the principles of the Ki-kyung that appeared in the Old and New Testaments, the applicability of them in today's missionary and pastoral ministry fields was discussed. Third, it examines the biblical foundations and missiological understanding of the NCMN 5K movement and reveals that the ministry of the Bible should be extended not only to personal repentance and restoration of relationship with God, but also to the realization of love for neighbor and social justice. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the NCMN 5K movement is a practical example of applying this biblical archetypal ministry to modern missions for modern community.
In publication proposal of Chapter IV, a plan was presented for publishing a manual of the NCMN 5K movement as a Ki-kyung ministry. The selection of a publisher, a summary of the manual, a summary of the contents, and a provisional table of contents were specified to predict the possibility of future use.
In Chapter V. Publication Sample, some chapters of the manuals to be published in the future were presented as samples. Focusing on six of the fifteen chapters formed in the writing process of The Time of Ki-kyung, the Season of Fruitfulness – 5K Movement, the actual implementation manual of the NCMN 5K Movement was presented. This manual specifically shows the entire process of evangelical ministry from soil exploration to fruition.
First, the prologue "The Story of Passion Fruit" incorporates the principle of farming, in which the soil changes when the climate changes, into the modern evangelism process, and suggests the need for a ministry tailored to the changing soil.
Part I, "Cultivation and Planning,” the writer analyzes the reality of modern pastoral ministry through 'Exploring the Soil' from the perspective of Jesus' parable of the four kinds of grounds, statistical diagnosis, and NCMN's 5K movement. This was presented as the starting point for the foundation of the gospel ministry.
Part II, "Soil Customized Ki-kyung Strategy Customized for Soils", specifies the outline and implementation principles of the 5K movement. " What is the 5K Movement?" and presented an implementation process centered on Jesus' four ministry models (feeding, teaching, healing, and evangelizing). In particular, the 5K relief ministry was explained as a field model of "feeding" which is the first practical step in evangelism.
In Part III, "Like Jesus, the Outstanding Farmer," the writer presented field examples of actual churches and local communities cooperating to achieve both ki-kyung and fruit at the same time, centered on the joint ministry "5K Love Sharing Bus". In domestic and foreign sites such as Yeongam, Paju, and Zambia, the Gospel, Relief, Education, Healthcare specifically describes how the ministry is organically combined.
In Part IV, "Expanding Good Land", the global expansion ministry centered on the "Overseas Royal Finance Camp" and the thirteen-year history of the 5K Movement (2012~present) are divided into four stages. From infancy to the growth period, from self-ki-kyung to the external ki-kyung, and from the nationwide to worldwide, the writer systematically describes the expanding process of the movement.
This manual sample is a model that comprehensively shows the missiological foundation, strategic approach, and actual ministry field of the 5K movement, and will be used to promote future education and research. It can be used as a specific guide for field applications. Through this, we hope that Korean churches can share effective evangelism strategies and make practical contributions to expanding their good influence in the community.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 한국 사회는 물론 세계의 많은 지역에서 급격히 감소하는 복음 수용률과 척박해진 선교 환경 속에서, 복음 수용(Receptivity of the Gospel) 증진을 위한 선교적 “기경”(起耕, Breaking the Ground) 사역으로서 NCMN (Nations Changer Movement & Network) 5K (5 Kilometer) 운동의 선교신학적 의의와 실천적 적용을 탐구하고, 이를 목회 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 매뉴얼을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 아울러 NCMN 5K운동이 복음 수용성을 증진하는 기경 사역임을 논증함으로써 그 타당성을 입증하고, 나아가 향후 발전 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
Ⅰ장 목회적 필요에서는 세속화, 다음 세대 이탈, 사회적 신뢰도 하락 등으로 인해 오늘날 한국교회가 직면한 복음 전도의 어려운 여건을 진단하였다. 이러한 상황 속에서 단순한 복음 선포를 넘어 복음 수용 증진을 위한 기경 사역이 요청됨을 강조하였으며, 외부 기경 사역의 필요성과 더불어 복음의 전달자인 사역자에게도 자기 기경이 필요함을 논하였다. 또한 연구자 측면에서 5K운동의 선교신학적 정립과 매뉴얼 개발의 절실함을 제시하였다.
Ⅱ장 문헌 연구에서는 첫째, 복음 수용에 관한 연구를 통해 복음이 효과적으로 받아들여지기 위한 전도 대상자의 상태, 환경, 준비도의 중요성을 고찰하였다. 둘째, 기경 사역에 관한 연구를 검토하며 단순한 개념 정의를 넘어 선교 현장에서의 방향성과 실천 가능성을 모색한 저술들을 분석하였다. 셋째, NCMN 5K운동을 기경 사역의 실제 모델로서 자기 기경과 외부 기경의 두 측면에서 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 기경 사역이 복음의 씨앗이 뿌리내리도록 돕는 핵심 전략임을 확인하고, 기존 연구가 간과한 복음 수용 증진 차원의 중요성을 이론적으로 보완하였다.
Ⅲ장 성경적·신학적 토대에서는 하나님 나라의 확장이라는 구속사적 관점 속에서 복음 수용, 기경 사역, 그리고 NCMN 5K운동의 성경적·신학적 근거를 체계적으로 탐구하였다. 첫째, 복음 수용의 개념과 신학적 의미를 고찰하고 예수님의 비유를 통해 수용성의 차이가 복음 반응에 미치는 영향을 분석하며 이에 따른 기경 전략의 필요성을 제시하였다. 둘째, 구약과 신약에 나타난 기경 원리를 통해 오늘날 선교와 목회 현장에서의 적용 가능성을 논하였다. 셋째, NCMN 5K운동의 성경적 기초와 선교신학적 이해를 검토하며, 기경 사역이 개인의 회개와 하나님과의 관계 회복뿐 아니라, 이웃 사랑과 사회적 정의 실현으로 확장되어야 함을 밝혔다. 나아가 NCMN 5K운동이 이러한 성경적 원형적　사역을 현대 지역사회 선교에 적용한 실제적 사례임을 확인하였다.
Ⅳ장 출판 제안에서는 기경 사역으로서의 NCMN 5K운동 매뉴얼을 단행본으로 출판하기 위한 계획을 제시하였다. 출판사 선정, 매뉴얼 형식과 내용 요약, 잠정적 목차 등을 구체화하여 향후 활용 가능성을 전망하였다.
Ⅴ장 출판 표본에서는 향후 출간될 매뉴얼의 일부 장(Chapter)을 샘플로 제시하였다.『기경의 시간, 결실의 계절 – 5K운동』의 집필 과정에서 구성된 15개 장 중 여섯 개 장을 중심으로, NCMN 5K운동의 실제적 실행 매뉴얼을 제시하였다. 이 매뉴얼은 토양 탐색에서 결실까지의 흐름 속에서 복음적 기경 사역의 전 과정을 구체적으로 보여준다.
먼저 프롤로그 “패션 프루트 이야기”는 기후가 바뀌면 토양이 변하는 농사 원리를 현대 복음전도 과정에 접목해서 변화하는 토양 맞춤형 기경 사역의 필요성을 제시하였다.
Ⅰ부 “경작과 기경”에서는 ‘토양 탐색하기’를 통해 현대 목회의 현실을 예수님의 네 가지 땅의 비유, 통계적 진단, 그리고 NCMN의 5K운동 시각에서 분석하였다. 이는 복음 사역의 토대를 다지는 기경의 출발점으로 제시하였다.
Ⅱ부 “토양 맞춤형 기경 전략”에서는 5K운동의 개요와 실행 원칙을 구체화하였다. “5K운동이란 무엇인가”에 대한 개념 정립과 함께, 예수님의 네 가지 사역 모델(먹이심, 가르치심, 고치심, 복음　전파하심)을 중심으로 한 실행 프로세스를 제시하였다. 특히 5K구제사역은 “먹이심”의 현장적 모델로서, 복음　전도의 실천적 첫 단계로 설명하였다.
Ⅲ부 “탁월한 농부 예수님처럼”에서는 연합 사역인 “5K사랑나눔버스”를 중심으로 실제 교회 및 지역 공동체가 협력하여 기경과 결실을 동시에 이루는 현장 사례를 제시하였다. 영암, 파주, 잠비아 등 국내외 현장에서 복음·구제·교육·보건의료의 사역이 유기적으로 결합된 모습을 구체적으로 서술하였다.
Ⅳ부 “좋은 땅 넓히기”에서는 “해외 왕의재정 캠프”를 중심으로 한 글로벌 확장 사역과, 5K운동의 13년 역사(2012~현재)를 4단계로 구분하여 정리하였다. 태동기에서 성장기에 이르기까지, 자기 기경에서 외부 기경으로, 그리고 범국민적에서 세계적 복음 운동으로 확장되어 온 과정을 체계적으로 기술하였다.
이 매뉴얼 샘플은 5K운동의 선교신학적 토대, 전략적 접근, 그리고 실제적 사역 현장을 통합적으로 보여주는 모델로서, 향후 기경 사역의 교육·연구·현장 적용을 위한 구체적 지침으로 활용될 수 있다. 이를 통해 한국교회가 효과적인 복음 전도 전략을 공유하고, 지역사회 안에서 선한 영향력을 확장하는 데 실질적으로 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.
