Cultural worldview serves as a crucial cognitive framework that influences how tourists understand and evaluate specific places and cultural elements, playing a decisive role in their tourism experiences and satisfaction. Using Hwangridangil in Gyeongju, South Korea, as a study site, this study examined the impact of tourists' cultural worldview on satisfaction through place attachment and tourism experience as well as the moderating effect of social media use in these relationships. To this end, this study collected 335 valid survey responses, and the mediating and moderating effects were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS Macro. The findings revealed that cultural worldview had a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction, mediated through place attachment and tourism experience. In particular, place attachment was identified as a key mediating variable leading to satisfaction through tourism experience. While social media use demonstrated a moderating effect by strengthening the relationship between cultural worldview and place attachment, it showed no significant moderating effect on the relationship between cultural worldview and tourism experience. This study holds academic significance as it empirically analyzes the nexus of cultural worldview and social media in the field of tourism studies. From a practical perspective, the findings suggest that developing customized content that considers cultural worldview an implementing experience-based strategies through social media can contribute to enhancing tourists' place attachment and satisfaction, and to more strategic tourism destination development and marketing.
