중년여성의 부모화 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향 -공동의존성과 내현적 자기애의 매개효과- = The Effect of Parentification Experiences on Depression Middle-Aged Women : The Mediating Effects of Codependency and Covert Narcissism

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중년 여성의 부모화 경험이 우울에 미치는 영향에서 공동의존성과 내현적 자기애의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 만 40세에서 59세 사이의 중년 여성 430명이며, 부모화 척도, 우울 척도, 공동의존성 척도, 내현적 자기애 척도를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 26.0을 이용하여 기술통계와 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 구조방정식 모형 분석을 통해 매개효과를 확인하였다. 첫째, 부모화 경험, 우울, 공동의존성, 내현적 자기애 간에는 모두 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 부모화 경험과 우울 간의 관계에서 공동의존성은 완전 매개효과를 보였다. 셋째, 부모화 경험과 우울 간의 관계에서 내현적 자기애의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 넷째, 부모화 경험과 우울 간의 관계에서 공동의존성과 내현적 자기애는 순차적 이중매개효과를 보였다. 연구 결과, 부모화 경험은 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 공동의존성을 통한 완전 매개효과가 확인되었다. 또한 공동의존성과 내현적 자기애가 순차적으로 작용하는 이중매개 경로 역시 유의하게 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 후속 연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the mediating effects of codependency and covert narcissism in the relationship between parentification experiences and depression among middle-aged women. Participants were 430 women aged 40 to 59 years who completed measures of parentification, depression, codependency, and covert narcissism. The collected data were analyzed
using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0, including descriptive statistics, correlation analyses, and structural equation modeling. First, significant positive correlations were found among parentification experiences, depression, codependency, and covert narcissism. Second, codependency fully mediated the relationship between parentification and depression. Third, the mediating effect of covert narcissism was not significant. Fourth, the sequential mediating effects of codependency and covert narcissism were supported in the pathway from parentification to depression. Parentification did not exert a significant direct effect on depression, whereas the indirect effects were significant, indicating a full sequential mediation through codependency and covert narcissism. The implications of these findings and suggestions for future research were discussed.
