매우 민감한 사람(HSP)의 대인관계 어려움에서 대인 민감성의 매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

매우 민감한 사람(HSP, The Highly Sensitive Person)은 비교적 최근에 제안된 개념으로 선천적으로 자극에 강렬하게 반응하고, 자극의 미묘함을 더 잘 감지하는 사람을 의미한다. 본 연구는 HSP의 특성이 대인관계 어려움을 예측하는지를 조사하고, 대인 민감성이 HSP와 대인관계 어려움을 관계를 매개하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 2025년 10월 31일부터 12월 16일까지, 총 204명(여 158명, 남 46명)의 만 19세 이상인 성인이 온라인 설문조사에 참여하였다. 한국판 매우 민감한 사람 척도, 대인관계 민감성 척도, 한국형 대인관계문제검사 원형척도 단축형 척도를 실시하였다.
연구 결과, HSP는 대인관계 어려움을 예측하였고, 대인 민감성은 HSP와 대인관계 어려움의 관계를 완전 매개하였다. 이러한 결과는 HSP의 성향이 대인관계 어려움으로 이어지며, HSP의 성향 중에서도 대인 민감성이 대인관계 어려움을 더 설명될 수 있음을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to investigate that the Highly Sensitive Person(HSP) traits would predict interpersonal difficulties and that interpersonal sensitivity would mediate the relationship between HSP and interpersonal difficulties. An online survey was conducted in 204 adults aged 19 years or older(158 females, 46 males). The Korean Version of the Highly Sensitive Person Scale (K-HSPS-18), the Korean version of Interpersonal Sensitivity Measure (IPSM-K), and the Short form of the Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problems Circumplex scales (KIIP-SC) were used.
It was found statistically significant positive correlations among HSP, interpersonal sensitivity, and interpersonal difficulties. Furthermore, the relation between HSP and interpersonal difficulties was fully mediated by interpersonal sensitivity. These findings suggest that interpersonal sensitivity serves as a key mechanism through which HSP traits are associated with interpersonal difficulties.
