The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between university Taekwondo instructors' relationship marketing and rapport formation and exercise continuation with university Taekwondo players. The study subjects were 300 university Taekwondo players registered with the Korea Taekwondo Association in 2024. To analyze the collected data, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used. As a result, first, among the sub-variables of relationship marketing, customer orientation and physical environment had a positive effect on personal bonding among the sub-variables of rapport formation. Second, among the sub-variables of relationship marketing, customer orientation, communication, and physical environment had a positive effect on pleasant interaction among the sub-variables of rapport formation. Third, among the sub-variables of relationship marketing, customer orientation, communication, physical environment, and professionalism had a positive effect on exercise continuation. Fourth, among the sub-variables of rapport formation, personal bonding and enjoyable interaction had a positive effect on exercise continuation. In conclusion, this study is expected to contribute to clarifying the relationship between university Taekwondo instructors’ relationship marketing and rapport formation with university Taekwondo players and exercise continuation, and to expanding the research area on relationship marketing and rapport formation in sports fields.
