DEF-IPV(Digital Evidence Framework for victims of IPV)를 제안한다.

Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a social problem involving abuse by current or former intimate partners, with increasing frequency and severity of damage worldwide. Due to the physical and relational proximity to perpetrators, victims face serious constraints not only in escaping violent situations but also in safely collecting and preserving evidence. In particular, when digital evidence such as photos, videos, and audio recordings are stored on personal devices, there is a high risk of evidence being discovered in situations where perpetrators can access the victim's digital environment.
Reflecting this reality, various victim support services have been developed; however, many have limitations in that they do not work effectively or have restricted usage in high-risk situations or under intensive surveillance environments. Therefore, this study proposes DEF-IPV (Digital Evidence Framework for victims of IPV) as a technical alternative that supports victims in covertly collecting and storing digital evidence even under perpetrator surveillance.
To identify the core requirements that a digital evidence framework should possess, expert interviews were conducted with IPV victim specialists, and based on the results, invisibility, anti-leakage, and Consistency were derived as key elements. To meet these requirements, a framework combining camouflaged applications and steganography techniques was designed. This framework is characterized by being configured so that not only the evidence itself but also the act of collecting evidence remains undetected. Additionally, to technically validate the proposed concept, a procedure-based process model was established, and a prototype was implemented to examine technical feasibility. Based on the implemented prototype, comparative evaluation with existing prior services and usability evaluation were conducted.
This study has significance in that it lays the foundation for subsequent research on real-time response in high-risk environments and victim-centered support systems. It is expected that research on victim-centered technical support measures in the digital forensics field will be activated in the future.
