노인미술치료사의 역량모형 개발 연구 = A Study on the Development of a Competency Model for Art Therapists Working with Older Adults

The purpose of this study is to identify the core competencies required for art therapists who provide art therapy to older adults and to develop a competency model grounded in these requirements. To achieve this aim, a sequential research process consisting of a literature review, in-depth individual interviews, and content validity was verified through expert consensus, leading to the confirmation of the final competency model for art therapists working with older adults. The research procedure was structured as follows. First, the roles and competency needs of art therapists working with older adults were analyzed through a literature review and in-depth interviews. The literature review included domestic studies on competency model development in counseling, arts therapies, and art therapy; qualitative studies on art therapy with older adults; and international research on geriatric art-therapy competencies. Based on this analysis, a provisional competency model comprising 3 competency clusters, 19 competency factors, and 52 competency indicators was developed.Second, a three-rounds of Delphi surveys were conducted with a panel of seven experts who met the criteria of holding a doctoral degree or completing doctoral coursework, having at least 7 years of clinical art therapy experience, and having at least 3 years of art therapy experience with older adults. In this study, content validity was established by determining the retention, revision, or deletion of items through a comprehensive analysis of the Content Validity Ratio (CVR), agreement and convergence indices, and qualitative feedbacks from the expert panel. Through this process, 14 indicators were revised and 38 were retained, strengthening the clarity and content validity of the final model. The finalized competency model consists of 3 competency clusters, 19 competency factors, and 52 competency indicators. The knowledge cluster comprises 7 competency factors and 19 indicators, the skills cluster comprises 6 competency factors and 17 indicators, and the attitude cluster comprises 6 competency factors and 16 indicators, outlining the specific domains of competence required in art therapy practice with older adults. The competency elements derived in this study provide criteria for concretely explaining the professional expertise of art therapists working with older adults, and may serve as a theoretical foundation for reviewing the content and structure of education and training programs, as well as for examining the performance competencies required in clinical practice. Furthermore, the findings of this study may offer a basis for systematically discussing the professional expertise of art therapists working with older adults and for extending subsequent discussions on competency assessment and standards of professional practice in this field.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

노인미술치료사의 역량모형 개발 연구 본 연구의 목적은 노인을 대상으로 미술치료를 수행하는 미술치료사에게 요구되는 역량을 규명하여, 이를 토대로 역량모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰, 개별 심층면접, 델파이조사를 단계적으로 적용하였고, 전문 가 합의를 통해 내용타당도를 검증하여 최종 노인미술치료사의 역량모형을 확정하였다. 연구 절차는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문헌고찰과 노인미술치료 임상 경험을 보유한 5명의 미술치료사를 대상으로 개별 심층면접을 통해 노인미술치료사에게 요구되는 역량모형 초 안의 이론적 틀을 구성하였다. 문헌고찰에서는 국내 상담·예술치료·미술치료 분야의 역량모형 연구, 국내 노인미술치료 연구, 해외 노인미술치료 역량 연 구를 검토하였다. 이를 통해 총 3개의 역량군, 19개의 역량요소, 52개의 역 량지표로 구성된 노인미술치료사 역량모형 초안을 마련하였다. 둘째, 박사학위(수료 포함), 미술치료 경력 7년 이상, 노인 대상 미술치료 경력 3년 이상의 기준을 충족하는 7인을 전문가 패널로 선정하여 3차 델파 이조사를 진행하였다. 전문가들은 각 항목의 적절성을 5점 Likert 척도로 평 가하였고, 평균값, 표준편차, 내용타당도 비율, 서술형 의견을 종합하여 삭제 1개, 통합 1개, 신설 2개의 조정을 거쳤다. 이 과정에서 총 14개 문항이 수 정되고 38개 문항이 유지되었으며, 최종 역량모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 내용타당도 비율 기준과 합의도, 수렴도, 전문가 서술형 의견을 종합적으로 반영하여 문항의 유지·수정·삭제 여부를 결정함으로써 내용타당도를 확보하 여 최종 역량모형을 도출하였다. 확정된 최종 역량모형은 3개 역량군, 19개 역량요소, 52개 역량지표로 도 출되었다. 지식 역량군은 7개 역량요소와 19개 역량지표로, 기술 역량군은 6 개 역량요소와 17개 역량지표로, 태도 역량군은 6개 역량요소와 16개 역량 지표로 구성되어 노인 임상에서 요구되는 역량의 구체적 구성과 내용을 제 시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출한 노인미술치료사의 역량요소들은 노인미술치료사의 전 문성을 구체적으로 설명할 수 있는 기준을 제공하며, 노인미술치료사 교육 및 수련 내용 구성을 검토하고, 임상 현장에서 요구되는 수행 역량을 점검 하는 데 이론적 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 나아가 본 연구의 결 과는 노인미술치료사의 전문성을 체계적으로 논의하고, 향후 노인미술치료 사 역량 평가 및 전문성 기준에 대한 후속 논의를 확장하는 데 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 주제어 : 노인미술치료, 노인미술치료사 역량, 역량모형, 델파이 연구
