청소년의 완벽주의적 자기제시가 SNS중독경향성에 미치는 영향 : 사회비교경향성과 사회불안의 이중매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

청소년의 완벽주의적 자기제시가 SNS중독경향성에 미치는 영향: 사회비교경향성과 사회불안의 이중매개효과 임상상담심리학과 임이랑 지도교수 박주영 본 연구는 청소년의 완벽주의적 자기제시가 SNS중독경향성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보 고, 이 관계에서 사회비교경향성과 사회불안이 순차적으로 작용하는 이중매개효과를 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 중·고등학생 236명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관분석을 실시하였으며, Hayes(2022)의 PROCESS Macro Model 6을 적용하여 이중매 개효과를 검증하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 완벽주의적 자기제시는 SNS중독경향성에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 완 벽주의적 자기제시와 SNS중독경향성의 관계에서 사회비교경향성의 단순매개효과는 유의하지 않았고 사회불안의 단순매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 본 연 구의 주요 가설인 완벽주의적 자기제시가 사회비교경향성과 사회불안을 순차적으로 거쳐 SNS중독경향성에 영향을 미치는 이중매개경로는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나 타났다. 즉, 완벽주의적 자기제시 성향이 강할수록 타인과의 비교를 많이 경험하고, 이로 인해 사회적 불안이 심화되면서 SNS에 과도하게 몰입하게 되는 경로가 확인된 것이다. 마지막으로, 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 한계 및 제언점에 대해 논 의하였다. 주요어: 청소년, 완벽주의적 자기제시, SNS중독경향성, 사회비교경향성, 사회불안

Perfectionistic Self-Presentation and SNS Addiction Tendencies in Adolescents: The Dual Mediating effects by Social Comparison and Social Anxiety Im Irang Advisor: Prof. Park Ju-Young, Ph.D. Department of Clinical & Counseling Psychology, GGwangju University The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of adolescents' perfectionistic self-presentation on SNS addiction tendency and to empirically verify the sequential double mediating effect of social comparison orientation and social anxiety in this relationship. To this end, a survey was conducted on 236 middle and high school students nationwide. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and correlation analysis with SPSS 27.0, and the double mediating effect was tested using Hayes’ (2022) PROCESS Macro Model 6. The main results of the study are as follows: First, adolescents' perfectionistic self-presentation was found to have a significant positive effect on SNS addiction tendency. Second, in the relationship between perfectionistic self-presentation and SNS addiction tendency, the simple mediating effect of social comparison orientation was not significant, whereas the simple mediating effect of social anxiety was found to be significant. Third, the sequential double mediation path—the main hypothesis of this study—in which perfectionistic self-presentation affects SNS addiction tendency sequentially through social comparison orientation and social anxiety, was found to be statistically significant. In other words, a pathway was confirmed wherein a stronger tendency for perfectionistic self-presentation leads to more frequent comparisons with others, which in turn intensifies social anxiety, ultimately resulting in excessive immersion in SNS. Finally, based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study, as well as suggestions for future research, were discussed.
