측정 도구로는 AMFA(8개 동작, 91개 세부 항목, 0–3점 척도)와 YBT(전방·후내측·후외측 도달 거리 및 복합 점수)를 사용하였다.
연구 결과, AMFA 총점 및 일부 동작 총점에서 무하지 부상 경험 집단이 하지 부상 경험 집단보다 유의하게 높은 점수를 나타냈다(OHS_total, HS_total_R, HS_total, IL_total_L, IL_total, ASLR_total, OLDL_total_L, AMFA_total).

This study examined functional differences associated with the presence or absence
of prior lower-extremity injury history among Chinese adolescent male basketball
players and investigated the injury-related discriminative capability and
interrelationship between a functional movement assessment tool (AMFA) and a
lower-extremity dynamic balance assessment tool (Y-Balance Test; YBT).
Participants were 60 adolescent male basketball players from Liaocheng, Shandong
Province, China. Based on a self-reported injury history questionnaire, athletes with a
history of ankle, lower-leg, or hip injury were classified as the lower-extremity
injury-experienced group (n = 33), and the remainder as the no lower-extremity
injury group (n = 27). Measures included the AMFA (8 tasks, 91 subitems, 0–3
scale) and the YBT (anterior, posteromedial, and posterolateral reach distances and
composite scores). After Shapiro–Wilk tests for normality, independent-samples t
tests were applied to normally distributed variables and Mann–Whitney U tests to
non-normally distributed variables; Spearman correlation analyses were conducted to
examine associations between AMFA and YBT outcomes.
Results indicated that the no-injury group scored significantly higher than the
injury-experienced group on the AMFA total score and several task total scores
(OHS_total, HS_total_R, HS_total, IL_total_L, IL_total, ASLR_total, OLDL_total_L,
AMFA_total). At the subitem level, significant between-group differences were
observed in pelvic/ASIS stability, lumbar control, hip mobility, knee valgus/varus
control, heel contact, trunk tilt, ankle stability, and core control. In contrast, YBT
outcomes did not show consistent between-group differences; significant differences
were observed only for the left posterolateral second trial and the right composite
score (R1) in nonparametric analyses. Correlation analyses showed significant positive
associations between selected AMFA scores (OHS_total, IL_total, ASLR_total,
TSPU_total, and AMFA total) and certain YBT directions and composite scores.
Overall, a history of lower-extremity injury may be closely associated with
functional deficits in adolescent male basketball players. Although the YBT is useful
for evaluating dynamic balance and monitoring functional changes before and after
training or rehabilitation, it has limitations as a stand-alone screening tool for
distinguishing prior injury history. Therefore, combined use of the AMFA and YBT is
recommended for comprehensive functional assessment and for developing
injury-prevention strategies in adolescent male basketball players
