This research focuses on the industrial development of modern Chinese dance dramas. Based on the cultural industry value chain theory, it deeply analyzes the industrialization practice of the dance drama Confucius, aiming to provide theoretical and practical guidance for this field. The cultural industry value chain encompasses four major links: creative generation, production, dissemination and distribution, and consumption feedback. These links are interrelated and promote each other in a cycle, providing a theoretical basis for industrial optimization. As a successful model, in terms of content production, the dance drama Confucius realizes the modern reconstruction of traditional cultural IP through the youthful expression of Confucius' image and the integration of dance and multimedia. In brand operation and market promotion, it coordinates online and offline efforts, and its diversified business model has achieved remarkable results. Audience analysis shows that it accurately grasps the needs of the 18-35-year-old youth group, and achieves wide- spread dissemination by virtue of the Gen Z's identification with guochao culture and social communication. However, the modern Chinese dance drama industry still faces problems such as content homogenization, an imperfect industrial chain, and audience limitations. To this end, this research proposes countermeasures such as innovating content by combining regional culture, empowering with VR technology, constructing an all-domain marketing ecosystem of "performance +e-commerce+cultural tourism", and improving the policy support mechanism. Through the SWOT and 4Ps analysis of the dance drama Confucius, this paper summarizes its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, as well as product, price, place, and promotion strategies, providing valuable experience for the industry. In the future, the modern Chinese dance drama industry should give full play to its own advantages, seize opportunities, and respond to challenges, so as to promote industrial upgrading, achieve the unity of artistic and commercial values, and contribute to the inheritance and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
