Against the backdrop of the deep integration of culture and tourism, this study employs arts management theory as its core analytical framework and selects the blockbuster project Only Henan ·Drama Fantasy City as a case study. It systematically investigates the strategic system, practical pathways, and value creation logic of arts management within the cultural and tourism integration mechanism.
The paper first constructs an analytical framework for arts management strategies, comprising "core dimensions - contextual dimensions - implementation & feedback." The core dimensions encompass five strategic areas: content creation and IP development, spatial planning and scene creation, operations management and service experience, brand communication and marketing, and sustainable development and social benefits. The contextual dimensions focus on external support systems such as policy environment, technological enablement, and creative talent. Implementation & feedback emphasizes project management and dynamic optimization mechanisms.
Through an in-depth case analysis of Only Henan ·Drama Fantasy City, the research finds that arts management plays a pivotal role in value creation within integrated cultural and tourism projects. Through professional planning, organization, and coordination, it facilitates the effective transformation of cultural resources from "symbols" to "experiences." The project's practice forms an innovative paradigm worthy of reference: building core content competitiveness through the "dramatized translation of local culture," creating an immersive narrative field by treating "architectural landscape as an extension of drama," optimizing the operational service system with a "spectator experience-centered" approach, driving brand communication through "emotional resonance," and ultimately achieving sustainable development through industrial chain extension and community co-creation. Looking ahead, the arts management of cultural tourism projects needs to build a content ecosystem of "core IP + dynamic micro-innovation," deepen cultural creative derivatives and the nighttime economy, cultivate loyal fan communities, and leverage smart technologies to enhance experiences and improve management efficiency.
