A high-linearity, low-noise receiver front end combining a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) targets 2–7 GHz RF and a 400-MHz baseband. The TIA provides third-order active-capacitive feedback to maintain a low input impedance, while positive capacitive feedback at the baseband transconductance stage translates the high-order baseband low-pass impedance into RF band-pass selectivity around the local oscillator (LO), improving blocker tolerance and linearity without surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters.The architecture preserves a competitive noise figure (NF) at low power suitable for mobile platforms. The design supports the 320-MHz channel bandwidth defined by Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be), enabling 4096-QAM with adequate EVM margin and targeting applications in Wi-Fi 7, 5G small cells, and future 6G systems.
