청년의 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음이 사회불안에 미치는 영향 : 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 정서조절곤란의 순차매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음이 사회불안에 미치는 영향에 대해 유 의미하게 예측하는지를 살펴보고, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 정서조절 곤란이 두 변인간의 관계에서 순차적으로 매개하는 지 확인하고자 진행되었 다. 연구를 위해 자기보고식 질문들로 구성된 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음 척도, 사회불안 척도, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족 척도, 정서조절곤란 척도를 사 용하여 만19∼34세 청년들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 총 296명의 자료가 분석에 활용되었다. 연구 결과 첫째, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음은 사회불안, 불확실성에 대한 인내 력 부족, 정서조절곤란과 유의미한 부적 상관을 보였다. 그리고 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족은 정서조절곤란, 사회불안과 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였고 정서조 절곤란은 사회불안과 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음이 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족은 부분 매개 효과, 정서조절곤란은 완전 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음이 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 정서 조절곤란이 순차적으로 완전매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서, 본 연구는 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음, 사회불안의 관계에서 인지적 변인 인 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 정서적 변인인 정서조절곤란의 경로를 살펴 보고 순차매개효과를 확인하였다는 것에 의의가 있다. - 주요어: 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족, 정서조절 곤란, 사회불안

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated whether a Belief in a Just World significantly predicts Social Anxiety, and sought to confirm the sequential mediating roles of Intolerance of Uncertainty and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation in this relationship.
The study utilized self-report questionnaires, including the Belief in a Just World Scale, Social Anxiety Scale, Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale, and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale. The survey was conducted on young adults aged 19 to 34, and data from 296 participants were analyzed.
The findings were threefold. First, Belief in a Just World exhibited a significant negative correlation with Social Anxiety, Intolerance of Uncertainty, and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation. Conversely, Intolerance of Uncertainty showed a significant positive correlation with Difficulties in Emotion Regulation and Social Anxiety, and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation was also significantly and positively correlated with Social Anxiety. Second, in the relationship between Belief in a Just World and Social Anxiety, Intolerance of Uncertainty showed a partial mediating effect, while Difficulties in Emotion Regulation demonstrated a full mediating effect. Third, it was confirmed that Intolerance of Uncertainty and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation exerted a full sequential mediating effect in the relationship between Belief in a Just World and Social Anxiety.
This research is significant as it confirms the psychological pathway connecting a Belief in a Just World to social anxiety by establishing the sequential mediating roles of Intolerance of Uncertainty and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation.
