숏폼을 통한 사건사고 영상의 비자발적 노출이 간접외상에 미치는 영향 : 회복탄력성과 정서조절곤란의 매개효과 = Indirect Trauma Following Involuntary Exposure to Short-Form Accident and Disaster Footage : A Mediation Model Involving Difficulties in Emotion Regulation and Resilience

국문 초록 (Abstract)

숏폼의 시청 시간과 사용자 수가 급증하면서 콘텐츠 영향에 대한 우려가 커지고 있다. 빠른 정보 전달이 숏폼의 장점이지만 플랫폼 특유의 전환 구조로 인해 사용자의 의도와 무관하게 외상성 콘텐츠에 노출될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 비자발적 외상성 숏폼 노출이 간접외상에 미치는 과정에서 정서조절곤란과 회복탄력성이 매개로 작동하는지를 검증하였다. 연구 표본은 만 19세부터 59세의 성인 300명(남 150명, 여 150명)을 대상으로 조사하였다. 참가자들은 정서조절곤란과 회복탄력성, 간접외상, 우울, 과거 외상 사건 경험 등을 온라인 설문을 통해 응답하였다. 분석 결과 비자발적 외상성 숏폼 노출은 간접외상에 유의한 정적 영향을 보였으며 정서조절곤란이 이를 유의하게 매개하였다. 반면, 회복탄력성의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 성별과 거주형태에 따른 조절된 매개효과 또한 유의하지 않았으며 이는 비자발적 외상성 숏폼 노출 환경에서의 간접외상 반응이 일부 집단에만 한정된 현상으로 보기 어렵다는 해석 가능성을 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Concerns about the impact of content are growing as short-form viewing time and user numbers surge. While rapid information delivery is a strength of short-form content, the platform's unique transition structure can expose users to traumatic content regardless of their intent. This study examined whether emotional regulation difficulties and resilience mediate the process by which involuntary exposure to traumatic short-form content affects indirect trauma. The research sample consisted of 300 adults aged 19 to 59 (150 men, 150 women). Participants responded to an online survey regarding emotional regulation difficulties, resilience, vicarious trauma, depression, and past traumatic event experiences. Analysis revealed that involuntary exposure to traumatic short-form content significantly positively influenced vicarious trauma, with emotional regulation difficulties significantly mediating this effect. Conversely, the mediating effect of resilience was not significant. This study also found no significant moderated mediating effects based on gender or living arrangement. This suggests that indirect trauma responses in environments of involuntary exposure to traumatic short-form content are unlikely to be limited to specific groups.
