경로당·복지관 이용 노인의 분배의 공정성과 기여도 인식이 배제행동 및 텃세행동에 미치는 영향 : 매개효과를 중심으로 = Effects of Distributive Fairness and Perceived Contribution on Exclusionary and Turf Behaviors among Older Adults Using Community-Based Senior Facilities: Focusing on Mediating Effects

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 경로당과 복지관과 같은 지역사회 기반 노인시설에서 나타나는 배제행동과 텃세행동의 발생 요인을 규명하고, 분배의 공정성 인식과 기여도 인식이 이러한 갈등행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 또한 규범명확성과 심리적 소유감의 매개효과를 중심으로, 분배의 공정성과 기여도 인식이 배제행동과 텃세행동으로 이어지는 심리사회적 경로를 실증적으로 분석함으로써 노인 공동체 내 관계적 갈등의 구조적 기제를 규명하고자 하였다.
본 연구는 서울시 마포구 내 경로당 및 복지관 이용자 206명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 Python 기반 통계도구를 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석, 부트스트래핑 매개분석, 조절회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 분배의 공정성 및 예상과 달리 기여도 인식 모두 배제행동과 텃세행동을 유의하게 감소시키는 직접효과를 보였으며, 규범명확성과 심리적 소유감은 두 독립변인의 영향을 갈등행동으로 전이시키는 과정에서 유의한 매개역할을 수행하였다.
이러한 결과는 노인 공동체 내 갈등이 개인의 성향이나 일시적 상황에 의해 발생하는 것이 아니라, 분배의 공정성·규범 구조·소유감·관계적 역량이 결합된 다층적 사회심리적 과정에서 형성됨을 보여준다. 나아가 본 연구는 노인 공동체(경로당·복지관) 내 갈등을 사후적으로 관리하기보다, 자원 배분의 공정성, 규범 전달 방식, 참여 구조, 관계적 역량을 통합적으로 고려한 운영·정책 환경의 설계가 필요함을 제안하며, 경로당·복지관의 운영진 및 핵심 구성원을 대상으로 한 리더십 코칭과 이용자 관계 역량 강화를 결합한 개입의 제도화를 위한 정책적 근거를 제공한다.

This study aimed to examine the factors contributing to exclusionary behavior and turf behavior among older adults using community-based senior facilities, such as senior citizen halls and senior welfare centers, and to investigate how perceptions of distributive fairness and contribution influence relational conflict within these settings.
Specifically, this study sought to elucidate the structural and psychosocial mechanisms underlying relational conflict in older adult communities by focusing on the mediating roles of norm clarity and psychological ownership.
A survey was conducted with 206 users of senior citizen halls and senior welfare centers located in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The collected data were analyzed using Python-based statistical tools, including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and bootstrapped mediation analysis. The results showed that both distributive fairness and perceived contribution had significant direct effects on reducing exclusionary behavior and turf behavior.
Furthermore, norm clarity and psychological ownership played significant mediating roles in the relationship between distributive fairness and contribution and conflict-related behaviors.
These findings suggest that relational conflict in older adult communities does not arise solely from individual dispositions or situational factors, but rather emerges from a multilayered psychosocial process involving distributive fairness, normative structures, and psychological ownership. This study provides practical and policy implications for improving the operational systems of senior facilities, fostering healthy community norms, and preventing social exclusion
among older adults in an aging society.
